Well the roof has stayed put!
Dangling 10 feet above the ground trying to fit a new shed roof, I don't suppose I gave these much thought but, with hindsight, they worked well and were a very good price.

Corrugated roof sheet fixings
A must have for fixing PVC corrugated sheets to battons.Carefully drill the sheets first, then easily fitted.PVC sheeting is an alternative to roofing felt, maintenance free and a 100 pack of fixings will soon be used on a larger shed.Prompt delivery, good product.

Ideal for the new Corolite Diamond but awful screws
These were recommended for use with the new, thick, Corolite Diamond corrugated sheeting. They work well: good spacers & caps - but the screws! They had to be replaced, being a soft metal that easily cams out &, worse, the screws do not have a cutting tip. So, there you are, up a ladder, attempting to fix these heavy sheets but you need to drill pilot holes & then screw long screws in with heads that soon deteriorate into little circles of meaningless metal. The frustration of the friend doing the work would surely have reached the next village. TurboGold screws to the rescue - but they really shouldn't have been needed.

Good quality but cost a lot less than local lumber store.
Very good quality. None are defect so far. I like the fact that this comes with the supporting cushions.

excellent value same as sold in diy shops at a silly price
used to secure pvs sheeting bought at wickes (excellent value)some screw heads not properly cut so disolve after a couple of turns so i used mole gripes to lock onto remaining part of headand turned mole grips to screw them in (the bottom part of clip beneath plastic squashes down) and then it all pops up when mole grip released.

Used 5 years ago.
The plastic bits are in good shape. Screw heads have corroded.A simple diagram of how to correctly install them would be useful.

No brainer - buy them!
Needed 30 of these to complete a roof and found that 100 from here cost less than 30 from DIY stores etc. Surprised to find they were exactly the same as the ones I had been using which had cost considerably more. I have now completed the job and found only one screw that was unusable. I recommend you buy 100 (they come in one big bag not little bags of 10) and you will have plenty of spares should one or two not work out AND it will cost you a lot less. I would definitely use these again.
