Excellent product, great price!!
I'm a 25 year veteran hands-on chef and my colleague suggested that I should try one of these knives as it was the best purchase he made in a long time. I wanted to use it daily for a few weeks before I reviewed it but I can say now that I agree with my fellow chef 100%, this is a great knife for the price!!! The look of the blade and handle is absolutely beautiful but of course with any knife it's all about the sharpness, ergonomics and durability. It has a great handle with a comfortable grip, the blade came super sharp and retained its sharpness for weeks of daily use on vegetables and meats. As it is a combination of a cleaver and knife it's ultra-versatile and can be used in any kitchen application. It sharpened easily and continues to retain said sharpness during daily use...and it has a great price! I'm happy to have discovered this product and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to buy an affordable chef's knife!

Heavy
It’s a beautiful knife. It was heavier than anticipated and took some getting used to. I dressed the edge with my steel before using to improve the edge.It it nicely through celery and onions. If you dress the edge it cuts tomatoes as well. I anticipate it will cube meats with ease.I like the rocking edge, but wish it had 2-3” of flat at the handle.Handle is comfortable and it seems to hold an edge well, but I always dress the edge with steel before use. It’s easy to clean and store in box. I’ll need to expand my knife block or make a wooden box to store it in. It is too nice a blade to put in a drawer without a full length edge guard.

Strong, Sharp high quality steel
The media could not be loaded. Fabulous knife that cannot be beaten for that price.Heavy blade great for root vegetables and cutting through fowl bones.Keeps its edge better than knives that cost 5 times as much!

Almost Perfect
It looks amazing! It's sharp right out of the box, which is a huge plus! My only complaint is on the end where the pommel meets the handle and the outer edge of the pommel. There's a bit of a pinch point at that juncture and the pommel doesn't seem to have been filed to full smooth surface. Luckily, my natural grip shouldn't put me on either blemishes. Now the only thing I need to contend with is the residue on the blade itself. That'll come tonight...

Very nice blade
Blade is nice and unique looking. Nice weight, Stays sharp for a while, and the price is really nice for what you get. One gripe... The bit of oil it has on it as a rust preventative was dried up upon arrival. so, it was hard and very tacky. Very difficult to remove.

Awesome knife
This knife is perfect for carving meat. It is sharp and keeps its edge. I highly recommend for anyone who routinely cooks meats that need to be carved (brisket, roast beef, turkey, etc).

Well built
Very nicely built. The workmanship of the handle is perfect. The blade, however, is slightly bent, although hardly noticeable. The blade is sharp and feels the same whether you touch it from either side and able to cut paper, but not as smoothly as my Swiss Army boning knife by Victorinox. Huusk called this a boning knife, but the blade is thick (2mm) and does not bent when pressured on the side. I could not find where this knife is made, although Huusk calls their knives Huusk Japan. I still give it a five-star rating because of the build quality.
