Steel cap safety slip on shoe’s very comfortable to wear, value for the money

I wear all day at work in the ED and they are so comfy. Fit well and look good and are lightweight too.

Whilst a reasonably comfy fit, I'd however order one size larger, e.g. for thicker socks...

I bought these as a rushed purchase because my shoes that I usually wear to work had started splitting, I haven't really worn them in yet but the fit is as expected and they do seem comfortable, I used to wear safety shoes in my old job (they were supplied) but hadn't thought about wearing them in my new job until a colleague ran into my foot with a hoist (I work in health care) and split my toe nail. I'll be honest and say when I ordered them I hadn't even realised that the description said they are safety shoes and only bought them because they looked sturdy and had free next day delivery so the fact they are safety shoes is a bonus and they look really smart which is great because I work for an agency my bosses keep asking me to go to new homes to impress them so looking smart is essential and I think these will really help, I will update my review once I have worn them in but so far I am one very happy customer*Update*I have now had these shoes for just less than 2 years and they are still very comfortable and have only just ordered a replacement pair solely because after nearly 2 years of wearing almost every day to a job where I spend a lot of time kneeling down the toes are scuffed beyond repair and I am starting a new job in a matter of weeks

I purchased these boots in the same size as an existing pair, but immediately noticed they didn't feel anywhere near as pleasant to wear. On closer scrutiny, it's clear that the shoe doesn't have a lot in the way of padding inside, but equally there isn't really a lot of room in there anyway. I found them too narrow, the actual cavity for the foot was too shallow and overall this meant the toe cap was pressing both from above and from the sides. I'm sure if you have narrow and flat feet, these would suffice, but if you have wider feet or chunky feet, either look at a larger size or potentially look elsewhere. Ultimately as steel toed shoes go, they were cheap and cheerful and would do in a pinch, but not ideal for all-day wear
