Happy with this purchase
This is a great product. There are several small chainsaws on the market, but I chose the Peektook becauseof its 6 inch chain length. It is lightweight, easy to work with. No messy oil tank to fill. I have a lot of trees andshrubbery around my house and this tool is very handy. I would definitely recommend this tool.Mike in Arizona

Easy to use, and cuts well.
I'd been considering purchasing one of these small chainsaws for over a year. Mostly I use my 16-in and 24-in gas powered Stihl saws, but wanted something that's easier to use while up on a ladder doing pruning or when there's just a few cuts to make and don't want to pull out the big saws. This one game with an extra battery and an extra chain for a good price. I've used it now several times and it has performed well. I do have concerns that the batteries may not last but only time will tell on that. Right now it's really helping out with the spring pruning.

What a handy little tool!
So I bought this thing on a lark, but was pleasantly surprised at how amazing this thing actually is!I did not have the highest of expectations with a chainsaw that only costs $35. I was expecting something that wasn't very useful and probably extremely dangerous. I was wrong! This thing is AMAZING!So I trim trees from time to time for my job and had been using a Hackzal and it has worked fine. But this thing is 100 times faster and twice as capable for the job. It has cut through anything I can throw at it with minimal problems. It's been such a joy to use I have found myself look for excuses to cut back trees and randomness now.The saw comes with two batteries a charger and some accessories that could be useful during basic maintenance and servicing but I have real tools my own so. But does have two chains which is actually useful. I am excited to see how long the chains will last, so far so good. The two batteries is helpful as I hate standing around waiting for a single battery to charge. There are a few things I feel could be improved on which is why it lost a star but honestly I am probably just so in love with this saw I want it to stack up with a $150 saw pound for pound and it's honestly so close I couldn't justify buying a Milwaukee equivalent one. So the first thing I noticed is every once in a while I hit something hard enough it Yanks the chain out of adjustment so the screw mechanism that holds down the bar could use another bold and nut versus the one. Now this has been a rare occasion and hasn't been a big deal to .ale a quick adjustment to. Second I am not real found of the guard on the top as I've gotten it caught on a few things, but safety is important and it appears to be a fairly common design for the guard so maybe I just need to be happy this tool ISNT trying to kill me. And lastly on the cons list is the slow battery charger and really I can't be mad over this one as rapid chargers cost more than I paid for the entire kit AND it does come with two batteries. So a few nagging things that I really probably don't have any reason to complain about. This list might be more important if you want to use this saw in a professional environment versus for home use. This is a product that I would recommend to anyone! In fact buy them for all your gift giving too! It's at that right price point and is way cooler than another 45piece screwdriver set for all the guys in your life.

Good product.
This product does it's job! I waited to review until I used it. I've used it once to trim up some wild shrubs and some small brush. It did what I needed it to do on battery use. Some smaller twigs it rips more than clean cuts BUT it worked and that is what I was looking for~ for the price you can't beat it.

Portable and convenient
This little chainsaw is small, easy to use one-handed, convenient, plus economical. The package comes complete with all the extra things you'd want. There are 2 batteries, which is great so you don't run out of power in the middle of a job. The batteries even have a 3- segment power usage display, so you know when they're partially discharged ( that's better than the batteries on the full size chain saw I use at the nature center where help maintain the trails). It comes with an extra chain ( always smart to have with you), the adjusting screw driver, safety gloves and glasses that you should have along. There's even a cleaning brush, which i haven't seen provided by any other chain saw i've used. It also has a small bottle for oil for lubricating the chain. On that subject, the company had great customer responsiveness. They got back to me by email in less than 8 hours when i wanted to check with them the correct type of oil they reccomend. (They told me machine oil would be fine, or even a can of wd40. For me, i liked the mini can of wd40, fits in my daypack easily ).The chain cut nicely, just let it do the work and don't force it They suggest adjusting it a bit tighter than I'm used to on larger chain saws, but that seemed to work ok.

Great product!!
This product works perfectly, very handy and easy to use. I chose it partly because have arthritis in my hands and it was advertised as the lightest model I investigated. It's so light, I have no trouble using it at all. It's a great tool!
