Worked better than I expected
I purchased this with the intent of using it for a satellite dish install. I used a cheap 'Guild' (Argos) branded 18V cordless hammer drill, and the bits performed wonderfully. It was easy enough to drill the hole for the bolt's dish bracket, and then also to drill through both internal and external brick in one go for the coax cable. The bits were straight before and after use with minimal wobble at the tip. As such the wall plugs used with the 12mm bit fit snug as intended. Both internal and external walls were brick, and after drilling completely through there was very little wear to the bits that I used. I paid a little under 7 quid for mine - I consider it good value for money. The packaging was blister plastic. Thankfully, there was enough space at the top of the plastic that I was able to just cut the top off and slide the bits out, and then reuse it to put the bits in for storage.Overall, a decent purchase for home DIY that's done the job with no hassle. Just what I wanted.

Great price
Performance was great. Length was long for what I needed and very durable. Easy to use in drill.

Great Value Long Drill Bits.
Like other Am-Tech stuff that I've bought, the product is cheap and does the job. These drills are plenty long enough to go through a cavity wall and all will fit a standard 13mm chuck. The only issue - and it might be because the packaging was more in keeping with a poster - there is a slight bend in each drill bit. It's bearable and I used the larger drill easily enough, but because the drill was slightly curved there was a bit of vibration.Overall though, given the price I can't complain.

Great Long Drills
Needed to get through the cavity my local DIY was charging a fortune for single 400mm drills so thought these would be worth a try since they were about a third of the price of one drill bought locally.I went through as far as I could with a normal length drill and since I only have a 500W drill went through with the 8, 10 and finally the required12 mm. The result the required four 12mm holes with no problem and the drills are still sharp. How long they would last in daily use I don't know, but if you are a DIYer who only requires a few holes, then these drills are more than up to the task and at an amazing low price, buy them.

A good cheap long masonry drill bit
These are reasonable quality masonry drill bits - do not expect to use these professionally.Use for a few jobs will be fine but they are prone to snap and go blunt fairly quickly.I have rated this a 4 as whilst they are fine for a couple of DIY jobs the longevity of the item is poor, however, the price point suggests this.I used these bits to drill through limestone and mortar, compared to an expensive piece they were pretty hard work and were not very stable. I do not think they would go through a lintel or hardened concrete however, once again this is suggested in the price. They are also not made for an SDS adapter, so you will need an SDS chuck in the SDS in order to use them, which unless you already own one negates the benefit of buying a cheap drill bit. If you do not own one buy a cheap SDS drill bit instead.Overall reasonable for DIY purposes and will go through almost any standard masonry (tiles, brick, stone, mortar etc), but will not go through hardened surfaces or polished surfaces without being tapped first.

Did the job/Good Value
Used the thinnest as a pilot then the thickest through brickwork. (So not even used the middle one) Did the job with no problems. Appears unaffected and good for future use so at this price I recommend
