Disguise Frozen Olaf Child Costume

My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES Frozen, especially Olaf, so we thought he might like to have an Olaf costume for Halloween this year. I searched Amazon for awhile and came upon this costume which looked adorable even in the picture. I was amazed by the price and it had pretty good reviews so we ordered it. As soon as we received it in the mail, I had my son try it on to make sure it fit. For a reference, he usually wears 2T clothes, is approximately 36 inches tall and 29 pounds. We ordered the medium size (3T-4T) because we live in Wisconsin and it is always possible to have a cold Halloween so I wanted the costume to have some room underneath to allow for layers. The fit was excellent and, although it was a bit loose, we can easily fit some clothes on underneath. The costume comes in several pieces. There is a thinner layer that is like a bodysuit and goes underneath the costume. It is white and basically is a shirt, pants, and the brown arms all in one piece. Another piece is the two snowballs and the hat is the final piece and has velcro to fasten it under his chin. The two outer pieces are made of fairly warm material and my son was getting warm in the house wearing it but he also tends to be on the warmer side anyway. The costume is so adorable and my son was so excited to get it that it made me incredibly happy to buy it for him! The price was excellent and the quality seems fairly good. My son looked so adorable that I would highly recommend this Olaf costume to anyone who likes Olaf and wants a good costume for Halloween or any other occasion!

I paid $13 (free shipping) and am very pleased with this. I bought it on a whim and did not realize there are three pieces: a thin white body suit with brown "bark" print arms and "branch" flaps to go over the hands, the two-bump snowman body, and the head. The two-bump body is easy to slip on, and while it is not padded, it still has a nice round, puffy shape. It would be easy to add layers for warmth if you wanted to take this trick-or-treating, or even to tack in a little padding just for shape. The body suit is very thin, but the branch arms add a charming affect. The hat/hood is unlined and could be scratchy, but my kiddos (ages 5, 3, and 1) love playing with it and it doesn't seem to bother them. The costume design seems like it would fit a variety of kids. I ordered the Toddler "Small" for 2T but my 5-year-old fits it! (she is 50% so very average sized) All three of my kiddos have tried it on and all look adorable (didn't put the under suit on the baby though).

Amazing quality! I really wanted an Olaf that was soft and fuzzy! My 3 year old is autistic and doesn’t like scratchy material! It was so soft even the head piece! he left it on all night! It was also true to size fit him PERFECTLY!

Ordered a 3T for my 29lb, 2 years 3 months little boy. Took it for a test run today at a local pre-Halloween outdoor event. Temperature was around 63 degrees humid. It's warm enough with no extra layers at today's temp. The one piece suit underneath was long in the legs for my son... But he's also on the small side so I just cuffed the pants legs with no issues. Arms fit him well in length but was snug. The hat fit well (a bit big but that's ok). I would imagine the costume being too small if you are from a colder climate and want to layer up. However, you can always use thermals or a brown long sleeve shirt and white thermal pants as an alternative versus wearing the body suit that comes with it. I agree with another review on the costume- it's a bit inconvenient for potty trained toddlers as you will have to remove the entire outfit during potty time- take off the puffy snowman layer then the body suit to get to 'business'. In conclusion- order a size up if layering up is required. The material is soft (the body suit sleeves feels not as soft to me but my son didn't mind at all). It is super cute and I would consider buying this costume again at the same price point.

My 19 month daughter went bonkers when she saw me take the Olaf costume out of the Amazon box. She cracks up every time she looks at the packaging. Although I have not put it on her yet, I'm pretty sure that she can fit the 2T. I love the fact that I can still have her wear pants and a snug fitting turtleneck underneath the costume because it can easily be between 45 - 65 degrees in Chicago on Halloween. I wish that the hair stood straight up - they sorta flop down but they're soft enough where safety is not an issue. If you're thinking of buying this costume, don't hesitate. I went to my local Disney store and they did not have a 2T in stock; I could not even find a 2T on the Disney Store website. Don't worry if this is the real thing - it is. Get. It. Now.

My little guy looks so cute in this costume! :-) He is in 18mo clothes and I ordered a 2t. It fits perfectly! He could even possibly wear it next year. Definitely throughout the year for dress up with his sister! Came with a white body suit that has the brown "wood" arms and the costume is "furry". The hood is a bit large but i guess it would fit a "normal" 2t child just fine. The costume itself would also fit a 2t fine. The body suit was the part that was a bit snug. All in all a great buy for the price! :-)

This costume is crazy cute!! I got this for my daughter while it was on a wonderful sale of $6 around Halloween time. She has only worn it a few times, however and doesn't want to put it on anymore now. That's only because I bought her an Anna costume at the same time, and she seems to believe, if she's going to dress up, she should go ahead and be a princess. Then she puts the hat over her stuffed Snoopy's head. Her best friend/cousin gets good wear out of the costume when she comes over, though! The headpiece was a little malformed when I first received it, so I heated it with my hairdryer a little and put some towels in it and that did the trick well enough.
