Be prepared to run your own wiring for this unit
I bought and returned this product and didn't comment on it because the equipment is pretty good quality for the price but I see people asking the questions that I wish I would have before buying. The biggest problem for the majority of people is that you have to get a wire from where the camera is on the outside to where the monitor is on the inside. If you are willing to pay someone to come out and run that wire (which will likely cost you more than the camera) then go for it. If you can run your own wire and cut/solder the connectors that come with their included, but very short, wire .. or order new connectors, then yes, this may be a solution.

easy to do, need to drill hole in wall, siding, about 5 foot cord, looks professional. maybe able to fish in another way depends on your home.
