This thing is amazing. I recieved mine ina small compact box so i wasn't expecting much but once you open it its huge. You can fit alot of stuff inside. It comes in a small carrying bag so you can fold it and put it away and not take up alot of space. Extra straps and a padlock to keep your items secured. The zippers weather proof so you know that no water will leak through if its raining. Has velcro on the flaps that goes over the zipper for extra protection and a slip proof mat so it doesn't slide around when you have it on top of your car. I really can't wait to put this on my car when i go camping. It is really convenient at the fraction of the price you would pay for a hard cover box. And this one takes less space. It is honestly really well made and should hold up for a very long time

This is amazing as when folded in it's case its very compact. But when opened it's huge and so helpful with additional storage when taking our son to and from college. It's super water resistant so rain or bad weather is no issue at all. It's so secure as has a zip that goes around everywhere, and as additional piece of mind it has an easy folding flap that Velcros all the way around the zipper so no worry of anything coming loose and provides piece of mind no water would get in. Ideal for camping or transporting anything you don't want or have room to put in the car. Love there is a choice of different colors - we think the grey looks really cool. Has so many straps that secure to the car -this is safe and won't budge once in place. It could be placed on a roof rack but also you could just open the doors and secure it that way. Love it!

I was really hoping this would work. Unfortunately, the durability leaves a lot to be desired. Pros: - Spacious and easy to pack/unpack - Carrier itself seems tough and likely waterproof Cons: - The first time we tried to secure the carrier to the car, one buckle broke and one of the strap holders on the back split. - The straps are oddly difficult to tighten. The part that should slide does not do so easily. - When we reloaded on the second day of our trip, the zipper broke and another strap holder looked halfway to breaking. On the plus side, the overlap on the opening and sturdy velcro kept the carrier closed for the last few hours of driving. Note that we did not have the carrier overloaded. It was full of sleeping bags, a tent, and blankets.

This is my 3rd soft cargo carrier, and the only one that lasted for more than one trip & actually kept everything dry! Instead of the usual canvas lined with cheap plastic that cracks & breaks away in one use, this is heavy-duty rubberized stuff inside & out. I had snow, hail & rain during my 3-day, 4-state drive & then left the stuff in it for 4 more days because of heavy rains. It was all dry as a bone in the summertime when I finally unpacked it! It has plenty of straps for secure attachment to your car. It even comes with a great carrying bag, a rubber mat to prevent friction damage to your roof paint and a nice little combination lock! This is a high quality, well thought-out item that I am so pleased to have purchased!

Liked the material and how easy it is to use. Holds more items than usual. Had to put an extra strap around the middle because I didn't feel like the small straps were adequate, but the extra strap along with the small ones held quite well. Also love the supplied mat to prevent sliding! Those are the pros, but the con for me is that if you lose anything you can't seem to be able to contact anyone to see if you can replace that item. For instance, one of the straps has been misplaced or lost I need to replace but can't find any information other then their site which doesn't even show the bag. I would be happy to purchase extra straps but can't find anywhere where that can be done! For this reason I've given three stars somebody contacts me and we can get this straightened out you'll get five stars cuz the bag rocks!

Was pleasantly surprised of the outside material, very well coated, not typical denier with spray coating. This is thick rubber like material. I also like that it works for raised roof racks as well as the side racks. Very spacious.

I recently moved across the country (35 hour drive) and this roof pack worked perfectly! It started raining as soon as we got on the road and everything remained dry. I do not have a roof rack but this came with hooks that are easily hooked onto your car frame under the door seal. It also came with a nonslip mat to put on your roof to prevent scratches and obviously slipping/sliding. It also came with a combo lock that locks the zipper under the Velcro. The only thing I disliked is how easily this could have been stolen when we stayed overnight at a hotel. There is nothing that prevents someone from just clicking the straps off and removing it from the roof. We found a hotel with cameras and luckily no one decided to mess with it. Also, the material is very sturdy, which means it does not stretch or have much give. You have to make sure the zippers can still zip shut when packing it full.

This is possibly the worst product I could have gone with. The instructions state that the flap has to be down and velcroed for it to be waterproof. Before we left and again just as the rain started I made sure everything was done correctly. Zippers shut, flaps down and closed, straps tight, etc. When we finally stopped for gas, the velcro had come undone and the carrier was full of water. All my stuff got soaked. I'm very disappointed.
