Whether youre a true Highlander or just a guy kicking back on the weekend, this slipper is for you. The sheepskin construction, with its furry lining, delivers the ultimate in warmth and comfort. Best of all, the outsole is substantial enough for light outdoor use. Slippers International is still very much a family business. The origin of their fine slipper-making dates back to their 1930's ancestors. Nearly 75 years later, they still maintain unsurpassed quality in their slipper making.

Warm, soft awesomeness!
These are awesome! Very comfy, warm and well constructed. I dunno if it's leather or hide or whatever animal gave it's life for my filthy stinky feet. But I thank the critter that's wrapped around my feet.In all seriousness, these are my first ever purchase of slippers. I mean, what "real" man wears slippers? Men that live in the mountains, with wood floors. Enough said! lol These things are great! The under side of the slipper, soles are a sturdy rubber material. And the inside of the slippers are lined with the same sheep hair you see on the tops of the ankle. And the shipping was next day. They must have had a warehouse nearby, but it came the very next day for me. I couldn't be any happier with these things. Worth every penny, and will be looking for this brand an style again in maybe 10 years. These are built to last.I wear a 13 wide in shoe. So I ordered a size 13 Medium wide. They are perfect. Not tight at all, with a little wiggle room. But not enough were it feel's like it's too big. A size 12 would have probably fit as well, but would have been too tight.

OhMyGosh. You NEED these.
I have been sick with grief over the gradual decomposition and loss of my 20-year old shearling slippers. I saw these on Amazon, and was, at first, hesitant about them, but then ordered them because I got tired of looking at 1,000s of shearling slippers online. They came in today, and I am so happy that I took a chance on these puppies. I was so excited to get them that I put them on in the garage while I parked the car. They are the warmest, fluffiest slippers I have ever seen, and the rubber soles on these things are amazingly sturdy. The stitching looks very sound, and the cuffs can roll up to keep you extra warm. According to the stickers I removed from the soles, the interior lining is shearling, while the footbed is lined with a woven lambs' wool (50%) and shearling (50%) blend--for strength, I'd guess.I normally wear a 10.5-wide tennis shoe, so I ordered an 11 in these. I was a little concerned when I put these on, because they felt snug, but once I stood up in them, my weight compacted the super-thick wool inside and my feet were surrounded with warm, lamby goodness. They are literally stuffed full of warm, shaggy lambs' wool.I can be a fairly negative person, so there's generally something I don't like about everything, but these slippers are dangerously close to perfect. What's the issue with these, you ask? The color. It's still quite nice, but it is much more red/orange/rusty than I had been expecting. Other than that, these are an A+++ buy. I must repeat, these slippers are incredibly soft and fluffy, and a steal for the price I paid for them.

Well worth the money, GREAT product.
Absolutely wonderful from every possible point of view. Another reviewer had written that the lambswool is fake- definitely NOT true...it's real, real, real, and VERY warm and soothing to my diabetic neuropathy pain ravaged feet! The sole very definitely non slip and safe for me, person prone to falls and with slippery tile floors. Raining here today, but was able to go out, get Sunday paper outside, no wet feet, slippers didn't get damaged either. The flap also folds up to keep ur ankles warm, while still looking nice. Now I want a pair in every color, cause this black pair for sure is nice enough for me to wear to doctor's office with my black LL Bean sweatpants. These look ALOT like real boots when flap folded up. Dear seller and Tamarac-PLEASE don't raise the price (like the Acorn ppl do, from 42$ to 99$) so I can get a pair in every color, because I surely Will. My diabetic nerve pain isn't going anywhere, and ONLY real lambswool takes away the pain, so u have a new forever customer as long as you don't practice price gouging.. I recommend this product to Everyone who's looking for warm, safe, stylish genuine leather and lambswool slippers! Thank You Tamarac/Slippers International!

A SIZING Tip herein ~~~ GREAT Product !
The ONLY reason I give this item 4 stars is the sizing information. I read the reviews posted before I purchased. I was a little worried about the sizing and should have bought a size larger. That was no problem, of course, with Amazon's return policy. For a guy, I have small feet. I purchased the size 7 but was a bit apprehensive about it as half sizes are NOT offered. After reading the reviews that others had posted, I felt these may be a little too small. I normally (for all intents and purposes) wear a 7 and a half. So these were a little too snug. I returned them and purchased a size 8. AS SUGGESTED by others, IF you're thinking of purchasing a pair and are a HALF SIZE, my strongest suggestion is to buy the next size bigger beyond your norm. I.E., If you're a 9 and a half, buy the size 10.I realize footwear like this will stretch somewhat over time as they become more worn in. They feel a bit narrow now, but I am positive over time they will stretch and be quite comfy. The warmth and feel of them is exceptional. VERY VERY NICE ! I have worn shoes that were made in Australia that were similar. They lasted quite a while. I expect nothing different with these. The shearling feels great on your feet. :)~

Superb Quality and Comfort
These house slippers are great for colder weather needs to keep the feet warm and great when summer weather hits to keep the feet in shoes (with socks) without having to walk around barefoot. They do very well for those brief moments to walk outside, get the postal mail, or what have you. I wear these things all the time when at home because I have diabetic neuropathy pain in the feet and these offer a (limited) level of protection and a LOT of comfort to my feet when at home. I highly recommend these also because they seem to be very durable as well. The pair that I have before are about ~2 years old and I've beaten them with my outside use and they are still holding together, but as you can see from the pics are clearly wearing out which is why I bought another pair here.
