Eheim Jager TruTemp 300 Watt Fully Submersible UL Approved Heater

Been using these for a few years. Best heater I've ever worked with. I now have over a dozen of them. No complaints.

These things work well. They are larger in size compared to other heaters of the same wattage but no others seem to last as long as these so I continue using these for all my 12 tanks. The glass is thick so it’s more durable than the other glass heaters as well. I also have never had this brand slowly leak at the seams letting in humidity yet (I always see in cheaper heaters).

The best aquarium heater I’ve ever used!

I used to swear by this brand 10 years ago. never had a single issue with the 15 heaters i had. i would tell others to buy and trust them. now im doing the opposite to help people. i very recently buy two and both seem off. one wont turn on again after 2 days use and the other goes off and on while not even at the temp set point. 4 degrees under the setpoint. now im having to buy new heaters. just spent 400$ on a top of the line marine heater. I will never buy jagers ever again. hope this helps someone
