Perfect OTG adatper
I definately love this adatper. I can keep my old iphone being charged while using it as a dedicated apple music player. About charging, I noticed that you can't use high current charger, 5V 2.5A usb charger is fine. Higher than that, charging won't start.

works ok until it doesn’t
this is one of those products that seems cool on paper but not super impressive in practice. the audio signal sent out the right usb port sounds fine when sent to the dac, no noticeable additional noise or whatnot. that said there wasn’t really any difference between it and any much cheaper usbc to lightning plug adapter you can get for 1/10th the price the charging port stopped working within the first week. I thought about replacing but am just going to return since manufacturer defects seem pretty common with the product also the 90 degree angle really isn’t that helpful. if you use a line silencer which are typically closer in width to a usba plug, they don’t fit most phones with a case on. end up needing to plug in an extender cable which kinda defeats the point

No longer charges
Worked fine at first, charged the phone and powered my DAC at the same time. After about 10 uses over a month, the charging port has failed and it'll only works with low-powered DACs.

Good device but I broke it
Works well but I broke it after a couple of days when phone was in chest pocket. Lightning connector snapped off. I’d say it’s only suitable for desktop use and you might as well use a cheaper powered usb camera connector kit for that.

Sturdy and well designed.
This is a nice adapter for Hi–Fi listeners. I liked the side–oriented connector, which reduces the leverage against the lightning port connector, and the side charging port can be useful too. I connect to my amp with a USB-C cable with a swiveling head, to reduce the chances that a sudden yank on the cable (always a danger when you're wearing a bunch of cables!) pulls hard on the connector. Most of the reviews here say it stops working. Try other devices in this class: they're all doomed. Most of them stick out far and end up getting stressed as you're walking around with your phone in your pocket or whatever. Eventually the lightning connector will break off any adapter. This one lasted pretty long for portable use before suffering the inevitable fate of lightning connector fatigue. If it was maybe half the price or came with 2 in the pack, I would probably consider that a net win vs. the ~$10 cheap and cheerful single port USB-C OTG connectors, and buy this one exclusively. As it is, I am repurchasing this, and plan to use it mainly for indoors use as it is much tidier than the Apple lightning camera adapter dongle. Audio quality through it? Amazing soundstage, silky smooth timbre with a crunchy finish. Seriously though, I've been really enjoying HiRes audio, I have done some A/B and have found that I can hear more detail in the background instruments, in some cases resolving it from just a sort of crackle noise to "Oh! That's a hand–drum!". This is one great adapter for iPhone users to get their HiRes audio on the move. Just be careful how it sits in your pocket and make sure it isn't getting knocked as you walk, and it should last.

Disappointing and Unreliable
I was excited about the TC28i Pro adapter, but it didn't live up to expectations. Despite claims of improved sound quality while charging, I noticed no real difference. The dual USB-C ports are awkward to use, and the charging port stopped working after just a week. The compact design is more of a hassle than a help, especially with most phone cases. Overall, it's an unreliable product that I can't recommend.

Worked for 2 months
Worked perfect to charge and listen to music until it just stopped. Still charges phone but OTG side no longer works 2 months after purchase.
