Found these to be simple to erect, nice strong shelving, looks impressive when fitted, had to bend and twist a little on construction to fit together but it’s thin steel so no big issue. Looked at destruction book followed destructions for a short time and erected two complete units in around an hour found best way was to erect bottom half first fitted three shelves then install top half instead of struggling with 6ft of steel easier to do in two sections. Drilled a couple of small holes in the back upright and screwed to the wall they are solid as a rock. Shelving MDF thinner than expected but when the two cross member supports are in they become very strong shelves. I’m very pleased with these units for the money they are good quality didn’t pay a fortune for them so wasn’t expecting 1/4 inch bolt together steel. Although they seem flimsy on arrival once fitted together they become very strong and sturdy the amount of stuff I’ve put on these two units is phenomenal and there holding up very impressively, I’ll definitely buy more of these when needed.

It took me a while to decide what shelving unit to buy as lots seemed to be poor quality. This is good quality and sturdy. It was fairly easy to assemble, but definitely was a two person job because it's a bit wobbly until you get it all joined together. All that is needed is a rubber hammer. The instructions were ok to follow, but not everything was crystal clear. Careful picking it up as the brackets are fairly loose as is the connector holding the top and bottom sections together, but as long as you hold the bottom main frai it's fine. Very light to lift without the boards in. Holds a lot of items. I'm very pleased that we bought it.

This was bought to store audio visual equipment. The assembly instructions and the packaging were decent enough, as was the machining and finishing on all of the components. It took two of us to assemble as it's a bit unstable until all of the shelves are in place. However once it was up, it was sturdy enough. For the price and for light use this is great purchase. I have it installed against a wall in the corner of the office with wall ties and kit is on and off the shelves fairly frequently. I would stress though that I would not completely trust this as free standing aisles system as it is prone to slight flex and twist under load. Happy enough for the price but this is definitely not industrial Dexion !

Just built this 120cm up today along with a 90cm one, they appear very sturdy and look very good in my shed, adding a great deal of storage space. I found it much easier to assemble the lower half first complete with shelves then build the top half on top making it a very easy one person job with no assistance required (the instructions show a two person job assembling top and bottom together which seems an unnecessarily awkward way of doing it requiring a second person to hold and steady the frame). Only tools required are a mallet (or similar) and a knife (or similar) to prise the shelf support tab away from the beam so you can bend to secure it (I used an ordinary dining knife from the kitchen cutlery drawer) no way could I have started the bend using a finger nail.

I purchased this for my garage and it does its job perfectly. It was incredibly easy to assemble, it’s very sturdy, good size with plenty of storage space and looks pretty good. I would highly recommend this product for a garage or shed etc

It would seem an unusual item to be enthusiastic about but honestly I think these are amazing. They're incredibly simple to assemble, slotting together easily by hand. You may find a rubber mallet useful for ensuring everything is seated properly, and you'll need a knife or flat head screw driver to get under the tabs on the cross braces so you can bend them over. Once assembled they're immensely strong, I have one supporting fish tanks another loaded with tools, no problems. The shelf tops are MDF which obviously is not moisture resistant in any way whatsoever, so if these are likely to get wet or even to be used somewhere very humid, the MDF needs to be treated. I painted and varnished mine. I quite like the industrial design of these, with the shelves painted up they look great and at this price they are amazing value. They're in a different league in terms of strength and durability to the typical veneered chipboard shelves and I will certainly be buying more.

Great shelving, ideal for anywhere really and you have loads of options as to the placement of your shelves. From having 2 tables to one large one, makes it great for your own specific requirements. I have only used 4 shelves as I needed more height at the bottom but still placed some of the beams on the side and back for support. I used some old left over Cuprinol to protect the boards from mold as my shelving unit is in my shed, and from looking at previous reviews it looks like it's worth doing. The thing is though it's good practice anyways as it will make any board or wood last longer! Some people are saying its flimsy... it is of course flimsy to begin with as is any shelving of this type. Unless your paying a lot more money. But once put together properly and evenly, the structure is what makes it solid. I used a rubber hammer to hammer home the connections as some were a bit stiff. A bit of cardboard and a normal hammer will to the same, it's just to protect the paint work.

Trotz der ganzen negativen Rezensionen habe ich zwei von diesen Regalen für meinen Gartenschuppen bestellt. Sie sollen "normale" Dinge tragen und nicht als Schwerlastregal dienen. Die Regale wurden schnell geliefert. Sie haben ganz schön Gewicht. Es war kein Problem sie alleine aufzubauen - Anleitung liegt bei, Voraussetzung man hat am Aufstellort genügend Platz - ein Transport im zusammengebautem Zustand ist nicht wirklich möglich - alles ist ja nur gesteckt - , allenfalls ein Schieben in die Ecke. Es fehlten weder Teile, noch waren welche beschädigt. Es passte alles dort hin, wo es hingehörte. Beim Aufbau musste ich zugegebener Maßen an die Rezessionen denken, in denen etwas von billig, klapprig usw. steht. Als aber alles zusammen gebaut war, inclusive der Böden, machte es schon einen stabilen Eindruck. Auch nach dem Einräumen hängt nichts durch oder verbiegt sich. Also klare Kaufempfehlung als Lagerregal! Als Schwerlastregal mit den angegebenen 175 kg je Boden wohl eher nicht - obwohl ich Ehrlich sagen muss, das ich es nicht getestet habe. Was die Haltbarkeit (rosten oder aufweichen der Böden) betrifft, kann ich in so kurzer zeit natürlich noch nichts sagen. Würde ich es wieder kaufen? Ja, hab aber schon zwei und mehr passen nicht rein. Meine Bewertung: 4 Sterne für Stabilität (wie gesagt 175kg pro Boden?) 4 Sterne für Qualität/Haltbarkeit (Qualität ok, Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht beurteilen) 5 Sterne Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (hier in der Nähe habe ich nichts Besseres/Günstigeres gefunden, hatte aber auch keine Lust Stundenlang im Internet zu suchen oder hunderte von Kilometern mit dem Auto zu fahren um alle Baumärkte ab zu klappern um vielleicht 5-10€ zu sparen).
