Raquel Welch Long 18 Inch Top Billing Top-of-The-Head Hair Topper Wig, RL12/22SS Cappuccino

I actually returned this topper after trying it on. It's beautiful and nice color. However I have a short forehead so it didn't look right on me. I returned it but did have to wait for my refund for quite a while. I did get refunded in full as I didn't comb the part out and kept all the packaging. I have a lot of other Raquel Welch full wigs and I love them and really wanted to love this topper as I live in an area where it's hot and wanted the option of just a top piece.

I had to return this, which was frustrating because I really wanted to like it!First off, it's the most expensive topper I've ever gotten. The construction and quality certainly lines up with the price. But a couple of issues:1. WAY too thick! It's like wearing a wig! Which for me is not the point of a topper. It's sooooo heavy. And because of this, though it's high quality, it doesn't seem real. Even when I had all my hair in my youth (and I had a LOT of hair that broke every rubber band I put it in), I didn't have this much hair.2. The lace front stops at temple to temple, and if you look closely enough, you can see my actual hair and the edge. Where it's on skin it's great. but that edge at the temples make it risky and easily seen as something artificial on your head (my husband picked it out right away and he is NOT that observant!)And I was not going to keep such an expensive topper and trim and thin it. Seems like such a waste, and potential disaster.I just got a $24 topper today that I trimmed and thinned and repositioned clips and it looks wonderful.

It's a rich darker brown and very natural looking. Looks like you stepped out of a salon. It does not look wiggy or overly shiny. perfect match for darker brown hair. Not black at all. It also looks very well made.

My friend is very picky. She loves this. She has an appointment to get it cut a little shorter.

The color was much lighter than expected and the hair is very thick. It is beautiful, soft and silky. The cap wouldn't fit right on my head and the wefting made it impossible to lie flat. It's just not the right style for me, but it would be beautiful on someone else.

This was a lot of very thick, blunt cut hair. Tangles and frays after a few uses. A lot of money for the upkeep. Wore once to a gala and it was beautiful, but need to thin it before wearing again.
