Excellent no problems

Same as the key pad type but very easy to disarm/arm and only one beep for each a lot more user friendly. The remote is not wireless, its infra red, The IR controller I got has a max range of 3 metres and a reliable range of 1.5 metres and under; I find no problem with the range because after all it is a shed/garage/room alarm. The IR remote big bonus is that when the alarm is mounted free standing or on the wall using the adjustable bracket it never needs to be disturbed except when changing batteries and they last for a very long time. With the plug in additional sounder it is loud to the point of ear defenders are a good idea. I would give this simple but effective alarm 10/10.

Works great, although seems to take a few seconds to register movement and sound the alarm (not too long to be concerned). Definitely loud enough and easy to install.Maybe could have done with 2 remotes as we have two sets of keys for the shed....

Very loud ?easy to set up bought two for my garages ,decided to get one more for my hut ,only gripe if it is a gripe ,delay in sounding off 30 secs after activated,,maybe a tad to long ????other than that ?ok.pn second thoughts!!!! It does activate after 5 secs when on ,so ok for me!!!!

The media could not be loaded. Update:This has lasted less than a year. The remote has broken. The microswitch under the button to unset the alarm has lost contact. Therefore the alarm cannot be turned off. Obviously this happened at the most inconvenient time, when the rest of my family was asleep. In a frantic bid to turn the alarm off, after continuous pressing the unset button I had to rip the unit off the wall and bung it in the dryers drum until it auto turned off after thirty seconds. I opened up the remote room discover the issue with the button.Original review:I have mixed feelings about this product. I bought it to protect my garage as a permanent alarm whilst the home alarm was not set as it doesn’t have zones. I chose this one as I wanted one with a remote to control it rather than using a pin code as the remote was always in a secure location before entering the garage. However, you need to be quite close for the actual remote to work. Even in its line of sight. The maximum distance away is about one and a half metres. I could take two more steps and type a pin code in. This is the products only flaw in my opinion. I like how it only gives ten seconds to disarm the alarm once triggered. Many alarms give a burglar thirty seconds before sounding the alarm. This one will send them scarpering instantly though. It also gives a courtesy chirp as soon as the sensor senses movement. Which gives you enough time to quickly fumble around to get the remote if you’ve accidentally forgot to disarm it. The alarm sound itself is extremely loud and effective. The pith and the tone sounds better than other alarms I had. A real sense of urgency. The range of the sensor PIR is good. I am overall very happy with my purchase.

This is a very easy set up little alarm for your shed or garage.The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because when its set off and I am in the house it can't be heard.I think maybe it would at least send any uninvited guest running thinking that the alarm has gone off.But really I don't think anyone would respond due to the volume of the sound of this unite.It would be better if it was double the sound volume.All in all, I think it is worth the money and don't regret buying it.

This is our 2nd purchase of this alarm. The remote broke but it was to be expected as we've had it for 8 years. Altogether a fantastic alarm for a low price

I have used these for my lock-up garages and they are brilliant. They have a good range of 6.5m, the garage is only 4.5m so once the door is lifted, it detects someone straight away and will give off a very high pitched bleeping.The only real drawback with these is I find the full thing needs replaced after 16 or so months, as it just stops working. I have changed batteries and changed key fob and still nothing. But for the price, I don't mind forking out for a new one.Battery life is pretty decent, I find between charges I will get around 6 weeks.
