Does the job perfectly and my little one loves it.
Was a bit unsure after seeing the previous review but then found a load of other positive ones on the jojo site which were all very positive so went for it (and very happy I did:-) Fitted my tap very easily and it looks like it would fit most others that I've seen too. The velcro makes sure it stays in position and my kids couldn't pull it off (despite trying pretty hard). As soon as I got Tappy out my daughter (2) fell in love with it, she now tells Tappy when it's time for a bath, a far cry from when I used to have to drag her kicking and screaming into the bathroom! She definitely likes being able to pour water in the mouth. My son (4) is less interested in playing with it but has helped his sister learn colors/numbers by pointing out (very authoritatively) which tentacle is which.Safety-wise, we've had no incidents since we got it which is a big change from the nightly bumps and tears routine we had before, they seem to be more aware of the tap area as 'Tappy's space' so aren't really getting close enough to bang or scratch themselves. At £15 it is a bit pricey but I think it's well worth the money. All in all, very happy and would recommend.PS Little tip: 'Tappy wants to have his hair washed but only if you show him it's not scary.' - worked like a charm:-)

Kids love Tappy! It protects them from the heat of the tap & bumping into a tap that is situated in the middle of the bath
We needed something to protect my little ones from the tap that is situated in the middle of the bath. This had better reviews than other similar products and so I thought I'd give it a go. It's fantastic! and the way it is designed means it could fit on so many different tap fittings (it slides onto the tap and you tighten it with a velcro strap). The kids love 'Tappy'! My 5 month old happily sits hitting the legs and my 3 year old has lots of fun giving Tappy a drink (you can pour water into the mouth), counting the legs and telling us the colours of the numbers on his legs, so a great educational bath toy too. My 9 year old thinks he's great too, as it protects him from bumping into the taps, but he is too old to 'play' with it.A great invention and has stopped all the accidents when bumping into the taps and protects them if only hot water has been run where the tap becomes very hot to touch. Highly recommended!

Protects little heads from sharp taps!
We just had a very nice new bathroom fitted. The square edge tap looks terrific but, the edges were sharp and if one of our kids slipped in the bath it would be nasty. So I quickly located this fun device. Fits easily over the tap, secures with Velcro. It looks fun, acts as a bumper and it has numbers to count. A bit too expensive, but it saves the nippers!

Cute idea, didn’t
I think it’s a cute product/idea but it just doesn’t fit my bathtub faucet very well (it’s an old tub with a standard chunky faucet) it constantly slips off but it still kind of does the job of protecting as it still sits on the top (unless my toddler is playing with it)

Doesn't actually work, just looks nice
I have a standard basin mixer tap on my bath. As attractive as this product may seem, it fails to cover the tap end properly, and it just won't stay in the intended position, which was the main reason for buying it. Furthermore, the product is remarkably thin and offers no cushioning for impacts. Considering its steep price point, I had expected significantly better quality. Personally, I would say it's unsuitable for its intended purpose.

Great product
I love this product and so does my little one. Since I’ve used it my little one is so distracted by the octopus that he’s not even tried the taps since. It gives me peace of mind that if he did turn the tap that the water would be redirected away and also it provides cushioning against bangs. The Velcro fastening fits very securely but can be removed to wash. The only thing that I would have liked would have been for it to cover the taps and not just where the water comes out.
