I can use this as two twins or one king size bed in my guest room.
I chose this bed over most of the others because I did not want the back part that sticks up behind the pillows. I used to have one of those and every time my kids wouldn’t move around too much or mess around on the bed it would wiggle back-and-forth and hit the wall behind it. This one is in a spare bedroom that I do not use that often now. I mostly wanted it so that when the grandkids came over, I would have a regular bed for them to sleep in. I simply lined up pillows along the wall so that they’re soft and don’t scratch or ding or bang up against the wall. This was pretty easy to put together, and the quality was decent. I don’t have the description in front of me at this second but if I remember right, it holds a pretty reasonable amount of weight. I bought two matching mattresses so that if I wish I can make it into a king size bed.

Ease of assembly and sturdy!
This bed was extremely easy to put together! I can’t say enough how pleased I am with the sturdiness and value! The ratchet they provided made it so easy.i did it all by myself with no issues. Great value!!

Decent quality - careful with legs and wheels
Pros- looks pretty nice- assembly process is pretty good- ratchet tool includedCons- the metal is not super strong... most areas not impacted- lots of visible bolt heads... not a huge deal... pics online are accurate- received with some very minor scratchesNotes:- manual doesn't say this ... but I really don't think the trundle should be used to sleep or bear any weight while on the floor... it should only bear weight with the legs extended... my son who is about 150 pounds was sitting on the trundle and the wheels did start to bend the metal... you can see where another reviewer took picks of completely bent metal around the trundle wheels. That section of the trundle frame should be strengthened... or the manufacturer should make it crystal clear that it cannot be used as a floor trundle... and should be used only with the trundle legs extended.

Well built! Heavy!
Lots of pieces come together smoothly for handy, patient hubby. Beautiful set-up.Hint: to lower bracing bracket to trundle legs, fold inward, not outward! Easy.

Some very good, some not
This bed and the assembly instructions are excellent in some ways but a couple things were puzzling and frustrating.GOOD:All parts labeled and listed so its easy to make sure you have everything.Very clear and easy to follow instructions and illustrations. Easy job for 2 people, doable for 1 good DIYer or carpenter, but the lengthwise pieces are long and kinda hard to manage without a helper.Extra screws included plus the little ratchet tool is brilliant for tightening everything!Bed is sturdy (haven't actually slept on it but it felt very solid to sit and lie down on.NOT GOODFasteners include some "short" screws that are supposed to be used on 2 crossbars on the trundle, but they are too short! Why has no other review mentioned this? The screws were specifically labelled and referred to as short screws, so they didn't seem to be wrong even though they were! I was able to use the extra long screw and middle screw but that left me 2 short. I didn't want to wait for service/support so I made a trip to my local hardware store and was able to get what I needed but that was a big ding.Dimensions seemed to indicate that an 8 in. mattress would fit below, but just barely. My mattress is more like 8 1/2 in and it fit very tight. I may have to put the upper frame on risers. It's hard to lift the trundle. I hope with time and WD40 or something it will get easier.TIP:On the trundle, there's a section of cross pieces marked with white arrow stickers--make sure the arrows are on the same side and pointing in the same direction as shown in the picture.

Sturdy and well designed
I hesitated to order this bed. It weights nearly 100 pounds when delivered and needs to be assembled. I should not have hesitated. I unpacked it and carried bundles of parts to the bedroom. Assembly went very well. The enclosed tool was amazing. The only problem I had was my mistake. I was able to assemble by myself. I love it! It is sturdy and the trundle glides in and out from under the bed. I napped on it and there are no rattles. A bed is only as good as the mattress - which does not come with this bed.Buy this trundle! Take your time with assembly.

Squeaks and Squaks
I bought this bed for my sons room. It was easy to put together and looks nice but it is SO SQUEAKY that he can't sleep. I tightened all of the bolts and went over everything twice but it did not work.Considering returning the bed. What good is a bed so noisy you can't sleep?Update: Seller informed me that it is expected it should squeak. So when thinking about purchasing this bed keep that in mind. I would not recommend.
