Great Quality with a STEEL chainsaw bar lock!
Although I won’t be using this for another few weeks, this looks to be great quality with a separate tool pouch and 3 free chainsaw files. It also comes with a little picture brochure of the product.Spend the extra $5 for the steel chainsaw bar locking collar, you’ll thank yourself in the long run.I’ll post a follow-up once I’ve used it!

Well worth it
Once you get the first cut in your golden. Can ride alittle on the cut so try and take out any play you can anywhere and you shouldn't have a problem. Yeah it takes sometime time to cut them but worth it in my opinion.

Seems good
Seems like it would work ok but honestly I haven't used it. I rip logs into slabs simply by nailing a straight 2x4 and repeatedly scoring my cuts until I'm through. This method used just the tip of the saw and dosent strain the motor. Saw cuts come out good.

REALLY? Vibration..who knew
First of all, this thing comes with no instructions.Second, don't these IDIOTS know that chainsaws generate A LOT vibration. The first time I tried this thing one of the set screws that holds the guide bar backed out and was lost.Third this thing comes with a "tool kit" in the kit is a nut (a little about this later) an Allan wrench for tightening the set screws you're going to lose. 3 round files and a handle, and one of those combo "T" shaped wrenches that you use on a chainsaw BUT it only LOOKS like one. It has completely different sizes.OK, now. About the extra nut. It is a stop nut, the one with the Teflon in the threads, but the ones (there are 2) on the device are just regular nuts (watch out for the vibration problem again)One more thing. Would it KILL them to weld the nuts to the size adjustment so you don't have to use 2 wrenches to tighten it down?Once you "hucklebuck" this thing it does a passable job
