Sugar free and as we do a lot of travelling boxes are kept in the car.

When you're on a diet it is pretty hard to enjoy something sweet without consuming a lot of sugar and calories. Any 'diet' sweet usually takes awful. But one thing I can say for these pear drops is that they taste just like the old fashioned pear drops. Plus the bonus is you can enjoy the flavour without the extra sugar and calories. The only downside to the sweets, which is the same for the same type of sugar free product. Is that you cannot consume too many in one go (unless you plan to be popping to the toilet quite often!). Although this also stops you from binge eating them. I would also recommend the mint humbugs. Although not as strong as a normal humbug, they are a pretty good sugar free substitute. All in all great sweets by Sula. Can't wait to try more flavours!

Good sugar free sweets

I have always loved pear drops and feel I can justify buying these as they have no sugar. My grandson in the States also loves them and is delighted when I pop some in my case for him. But I do warn him not to eat all of them in one go as these sweeteners often have undesirable side effects when eaten in bulk!

Perfect for when you are on a diet and want to have a low calorie 'treat' to keep hunger at bay. They are only 8 calories per sweet, so if on the Fast800 diet or similar, having 2 or 3 a day wont have any significant impact on your calorie count but will certainly help to keep cravings away.

Sugar-free confectionery is hard to find the the big supermarkets and shops. when I do find some they are very expensive. SULA Pear Drops via Amazon is very convenient although not cheap still better than High St prices.

Love that these actually taste nice for a sugar free sweet.
