Works great, uses a integrated battery pack.

Waste of $- will not support a doorbell
Easy to install, just quit working after day 2 after initial install/ charge. I'm writing the review now because I have time and knowing I was way beyond a return was contemplating buying another or similar. After seeing so many similar experiences, I'll either stay swapping batteries 😡 or hard wire a traditional transformer so there's continuous power.Ask the other blink cameras around the house work flawlessly with the solar panels/ mounts. Also solar panels have become heavily oxidized even without being used for actual solar collection. Voltage reads almost 3VDC, apparently the camera just pulls to hard for the batteries in the solar collector. This is an elementary issue that could easily be resolved with minimal cost to upgrade/ correct. Very disappointing especially considering the cost

Works great
This works great. Not sure why the other solar panels don't work for the regular cameras but this solar panel for the doorbell works really well. Worth the buy. You'll save lots of money not having to buy batteries.

No more replacing battery
It works right away. I didn’t even wait for the eight hours fully sunny charge.

I was pleased; emphasis on "was" (edited x8).
(Update 2/24/23 AM): Status quo. Nothing has changed since the previous post. Just verified the connection. This will be the 8th and final update unless it stops functioning again or suddenly improves drastically.(Update 2/21/23 PM): Still connected. I'm slightly less pessimistic although no matter what, I've had to compromise by making a drastic reduction in my preferred settings. I'm just going to reframe that negative thought with: "at least I'm not wasting vast amounts of AA batteries."(Update 2/20/23 PM): I tested the doorbell itself and it worked as designed. A connection test immediately after found the unit still working. The battery status is still where it's been (see below). No changes have been made to the configuration below, and at the time of the test was not receiving direct sunlight. [the saga continues and I enjoy letting potential buyers know the ups and downs of my experience]. Based on the doorbell working, I've added a star to go from 2 ->3.(Update 2/18/23 PM): I was as shocked as anyone that I have NOT gotten a failed connection notification yet. The settings are still much lower than I would like but I'm compromising for now. (retrigger: 30, Sensitivity 4, Clip Length 10 w/ end early enabled). As part of the cloud service, it takes one photo every hour. I further have just taken a photo to ensure the connection was good. It still shows REPLACE but at least it still works. One day I'll get brave and push the doorbell to see if that pushes it out of homeostasis.(Update 2/15/23 AM): I lowered all the settings a bit but still have the motion detection on. The doorbell is still showing "REPLACE" but it is still connected and working. I had it take a quick cover photo in order to verify the connection.(Update 2/13/23 PM): Power is currently at "replace". Still connected but fading fast. I'm starting to think that the panels don't convert energy at a high enough rate; thus, unless it gets direct sunlight for a large portion of the day, you're in for problems. Just a hypothesis.(Update 2/13/23 AM): I removed the doorbell yesterday in anticipation of replacing the solar mount. The doorbell worked on the new mount out of the box, so I tried the original mount and it worked. I lowered the photo quality, increased the retrigger time, decreased the sensitivity, and lowered the recording time. All was well until this morning when I got a low-battery notification [while it was getting direct sunlight]. It hasn't died entirely but I'm no longer optimistic about my chances. I'll be sure to update you.(Update 2/11/23): Spoke too soon. The thing died this morning. Craptacular.Original:I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered it but it’s kept my doorbell fully charged, even at night when the temps are in the 30s. Not so much as a low-battery message. It’s only been a few days but I’m optimistic. What I like: Installation was 1-2-3 and done. As mentioned earlier, my doorbell is full charged; to give you an idea, mine faces a main road and I have it set to best picture quality and quick retrigger times.I don’t like that the doorbell must sit within the solar unit itself. It makes direct contact with the doorbell and has no mechanism for using any tilt or extender.Overall though, I’m happy with it. I’ll definitely update if something changes.

Great product but a few problems
These work great but they didn't really think them through. 1 they don't tell you much and you wing it. 2 the box isn't secured so getting everything is hit and miss. 3 they don't allow for you to have a wired doorbell but is an easy fix if you know what to do. So all in all after you let it charge in a window for 2 days you are all set just make sure to move the connections around a little if it doesn't come on afterwards and then it should be all set to go.

Doesn’t work
Charged for 2 days before installing. Never would charge fully. Eventually camera would just go off line. Waste of money and unfortunately I missed my return window.
