Now let's talk about a bright light. This LED lantern puts off a lot of light. We'll made product. More than happy with my purchase.

Living in a place where the electricity goes out once a week makes battery operated lanterns a necessity. If you want to cook, wash dishes, or read in the evening, you need a minimum of 2500 lumens. This 3000 lumen light is even better. We can also take it with us when we go camping. But let's be practical; is there anyone out there who doesn't need emergency lighting, or am I the unluckiest person in America to have my power out on a fairly regular basis? Ha, ha.

I received two of the lanterns in a timely fashion, carefully packaged. One of the lanterns didn't work despite following suggested remedies on the Dorcy site. I contacted the Customer Service team and received a prompt response. A new one will be sent! This is GREAT service - and add to that is the fact that the product which worked - is exactly as advertised! Great light spread, sturdy casing, several light levels. Highly recommend the product and the experience!
