I've ordered this product more than once, and in the past, I received a larger piece of material.For the money, I suggest buyers carefully estimate how much they will need and purchase accordingly. The sheet I ordered in the past lasted for over two years due to its large size, but the cut that I received in my most recent order will not last more than two months. I'm not sure if they changed their measurements or increased their prices in relation to the cuts, but either way, it didn't seem like I received the same amount of material for the same price.

Cotton masks have an opening between the outside and inner lining to insert an additional filter, preferably washable. While I don't recall any instructions on the packaging for this product, we found information online that said the activated carbon filters can be washed with antibacterial dish soap, rinsed, and dried in sunlight.

I sewed everyone in my family a mask to protect them from coronavirus. I cut squares from this activated carbon filter and wrapped each one in PM 2.5 filters. My husband and I have a lot of doctor's appointments and these should provide us more protection than a surgical mask.
