Would this benefit a 2 yr house trained dog now living in a flat with no outdoor area?

Hi, I threw mine away. I had been using a UGODOG for years but wanted something with sides as my Yorkie was lifting his leg high and getting the wall. I didn't get on with this box because he got his claws stuck in the grates which are too small, it upset him. I bought a new UGODOG and kept the sides of the rascal box, I just use one of the sides as a back which solves my problem. As for starting to use either, it will be ok if you can re-train your dog to pee on it rather than outside. I've always had one so wasn't an issue for me. Good luck

As long it is covered form rain and snow. But what I would do is to train them inside first so you can monitor there progress 24/7 and then pl;ace it in your desired location after they are comfortable with the litter box. I hope this helps

Does the larger box come with an extra piece of grass as they advertise on their own website please? I can't see it listed in the product details.

Hi, No I didn,t get an extra piece last August. However if, after the purchase you liase directly with the company if you post a good review on amazon they send you a free one, I also posted a video of my whippet using it and I got 2 free ones sent from america. Is this suitable only for dogs to pee in or can it be used for poo also?

My dog only ever pees in it but they can poop in it. You'd just need to clear the poop more frequently as it would just sit on top of the fake grass not pass through to the receptacle below as the pee does.
