Kenwood FPM250 Food Processor - Brushed Metal

It uses up less space than my previous processor. Great value and looks good. I have a snazzy cover for it and the extra jug so it still looks compact. Blades need to be stored separately. Easy to clean - big plus for me as I hated the fiddly nooks and crannies harbouring previous use blended mix. Initially my 80 yr old mother-in-law found the lid awkward to remove due to arthritis. She now "hugs" the jug to slide and lever the lid open. It gets used 4 or 5 times a week since we got it 2+ months ago. So all in all we are very happy with the purchase.

Update... We bought this blender in June 2015 and it has finally given up the ghost in Dec 2017. It lasted well and I would buy it again if was still in stock. We looked at cost per month when my husband was trying to convince not to buy a more expensive rival contender and the Kenwood worked out slightly cheaper. We were just talking about how well used our food processor is and were amazed to discover that we've had it for 2 years now... It was well worth the money and I would definitely buy it again if I ever needed another food processor. I probably use this at least 4 times a week, it is invaluable. I make nut butter weekly and it makes the creamiest hummus too. A friend recommended her Magimix and at the time it was a real contender but I am so pleased that I went with this choice instead. I have only used the shredding and cutting blades once but I use the blender weekly too. Cleaning the blender is a little fiddly but it's not difficult and means that food doesn't get trapped at the bottom. I would highly recommend this food processor every time.

Good quality processor. I've been using this for a while now for a number of things - slicing, grating, mixing, blending, etc. Simple & easy to use. Not noisy/clunky. Quick & easy to clean and it doesn't take up as much space as others I've had. Although it doesn't vibrate like some can, I particularly like the suction feed on the base as they hold it securely in place.

This food processor is superb. But I think I made a mistake, I need also the flour milling jar. But I overlooked it I guess. The blender works very well. I tried to look for a single item only i.e flour milling jar, but unfortunately Kenwood do not sell a single item that I need. Guess need to wait until it is broken for good, then but a new set.

I bought this processor to replace a very old Moulinex which gave up the ghost after thirty years service. The parcel arrived in two days,though I went for the free 3-5 days option,good old Amazon. This machine seems very sturdy and boy! is it fast.I have made smoothies,scones and sliced a huge pile of vegetables since I got it.I made a bowl full of breadcrumbs too(for making Queen of Puddings).I am absolutely delighted with this . I will be using it a lot and it looks great on the worktop. Thank you to all those who wrote reviews on this Kenwood,it helped me make up my mind.

Very good mixer. It's on the smaller size than I was used to but it's still good. Very solid and well made. Would buy again. Don't buy it if you need to make large quantities. Nice to use and wash up.

I have used this product several times now and am confident that I made the right choice. Small footprint, many options all of which work very well, good build quality and it looks the part. This is my first food processor so I didn't really know what to expect, I am however very pleased. Small suggestion, a blade storage holder would be a very useful accessory.

Thoroughly useless product. Cant tell whether it is just useless or plain defective. Gives off smoke and burning smell and cannot perform the most basic tasks. You can feel the motor and blades struggling with your ingredients and ultimately you have to scoop them out yourself in lumps. At one point I was sure it was going to blow up, causing myself and my home to catch fire. Please be aware, there is no doubt about the criminal negligence and lack of quality control in this product. If you do purchase it, you will run the risk of serious personal injury. This product will give off smoke and eventually blow up.

j ai longuement hesité avant d 'acheter ce robot. Finalement la marque Kenwood + amazon je me suis dit que je pouvait y aller. le prix tres correct, le service amazon comme d habitude impecable. donc j ai acheter ce robot qui rappe, coupe les pomme de terre pour le gratin, il fait blender, presse agrume on peu faire des blancs en neige, presque tout sauf que ce n est pas un robot patissier .En meme temps pour faire une pate a pizza dans un saladier on mais 5 minutes. Il est moins encombrant qu un robot patisier donc je l'ai pris. LA qualité semble au rendez vous, on verra à l'usage. Beaucoup de plastique quand meme et les engrenage aussi cependant les emboitement semble bien fait et cela devrait durer. le batteur pour les blanc en neige fait un peu dinette tout en plastique . le bol me parraissait petit mais finalement non ça va(on est 4 à la maison); le blender est pas mal. lors du fonctionnement je m attendait à plus de bruit mais finalement il n'est pas trop bruyant.

Ho da anni questi robot quindi la mia recensione è più che mai fondata. Lo uso praticamente ogni giorno da sempre. Per fare spremute abbondanti ogni mattina, per tagliare o sminuzzare le verdure, per tritare il soffritto, o per frullare. Penso di aver ampiamente ammortizzato il costo. Soldi davvero ben spesi. L’oggetto è robusto, nemmeno brutto da vedere. Lavato mille volte i pezzi in lavastoviglie, sempre tutto perfetto. Niente da dire su questo valido elettrodomestico.

Después de mucho mirar procesadoras de alimentos me decidí por este modelo de Kenwood, los motivos princpiales: Tamaño (tengo una cocina pequeña) y marca; siempre he tenido electrodomesticos kenwood y suelen funcionar muy bien muchos años, dicho lo cual, uno de los motivos por los que he tardado tanto en decidirme era porque no daba con una descripción del producto que me dijese exactamente que traía este modelo en el que sólo aparece ( en la foto) el procesador y el vaso batidor, y las especificaciones eran confusas... aún así he decidido pedirlo y optar por comprar los accesorios que no traiga; no obstante, me he llevado una grata sorpresa al ver que trae todos los complementos que quería, excepto el molinillo para especias, granos de café ...etc, que ya lo he adquirido a parte (30 € con gastos de envío : https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B00J7KOFGY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ), así que, paso a detallar los accesorios que trae este modelo comprado en amazon y que me ha costado 78 € : - 3 discos de corte - rallador - Cuchilla corte (principal del procesador de alimentos:picar, hacer crema de frutos secos...etc) - "Cuchilla" amasadora (plástico) - Varillas batir (montar claras) - Exprimidor (no licuadora) - Espatula - Jarra batidora (de plástico) - Instrucciones en español . Funciona genial, ahora sólo queda ver como se porta con el paso del tiempo. Muy contenta con la compra!

Ich war schon einmal stolzer Besitzer einer Kernnwood FPM 250 und habe sie an eine Freundin verkauft als ich mit meinem Mann zusammenzog der schon eine, wie er sagte "wirklich gute" Küchenmaschine besaß...Nach 1 Jahr hatte ich die Nase voll und habe mir wieder eine Kennwood gekauft. Die Handhabung vom Schneiden bis zu Reinigung ist herrlich einfach, die Möglichkeiten vielseitig.Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar und die Maschine stabil, robust, nahezu unverwüstlich. Meine "alte" war 2 als ich sie verkaufte, das ist jetzt 3 Jahre her und ich weiß das sie viel genutzt wird. Selbst die Schneidescheiben sind scharf wie am ersten Tag- -könnten aber bei Bedarf einzeln nachgekauft werden. Ich freue mich auf viele gute Jahre mit der neuen. Für mich mit Abstand die beste Küchenmaschine die es für den Privathaushalt mit kleinem Geldbeutel gibt.

Also das Gerät ist bei uns eigentlich jeden Tag im Einsatz da immer irgendein Gemüse auf den Tisch kommt und hat deshalb einen fixen Platz auf der Anrichte. Selbst nur zum Zwiebelschneiden zum anschwitzen wird er genommen da es leicht zum ausspülen geht. 1 Stern ziehe ich ab da der Motor leiser sein könnte und die Verarbeitung der Maschine noch etwas besser sein könnte für diesen Preis.
