Blanket/bath towel must of been some new fangle marketing term that turned some people on in there marketing dept. The chair covers are of a great quality and fit. Very happy with our purchase.

Q: Are these effective at protecting chairs against cat scratches?

As long as the cats nails don't go through the material. If they do then it will get scratches on the chairs
