Great quality!
Some people will be dissatisfied to know this Bible is printed in China. On the other hand, it is a testimony to God’s sovereign hand of providence that China is being used of Him to print good quality Bibles.Everything about this Bible is great for the price. The quality of the goat skin does not disappoint. The new Thompson Chain format is very good, informative, and easy to use in the study of the Word.A very good Bible. This review is coming from a missionary who loves the Lord and His Word!

Some Issues
We’ve recently purchased 4 premier and two bonded leather in the KJV version. We also purchased 2 NASB’s.Since zondervan has taken over printing the Thompson Chain they seem to have issues with only their KJV prints. All the KJVs seem to be printed in China. The NASB’s are printed in South Korea. We have noticed all the KJV’s are missing the entire Z section of the concordance and are also missing the weights and measure pages. We have found some other inconsistency’s that other people have posted about already.Beautiful bible but upsetting that they’re incomplete. We ended up buying a different brand as these were meant for Christmas gifts.

Love this bible, but..
I love the page layout, the new font makes it easier to read. As much as I am enjoying the Zondervan Thompson Chain Reference Premier collection bible, I have found some inconsistancies with it. For reference I compared my (Kirkbride) Thompson Chain Reference bible, 1988 /12th printing / Aug 2005, with Zondervan Thompson Chain Reference bible, 2022 Revised & Updated. The General Index & Condensed Cyclopedia of Topics & Texts numbers of the Kirkbride TCR agree with each other. The Zondervan TCR <Alpha> list matches the Kirkbride TCR. The [Numerical] list does not match the <Alpha> list! Here are a few examples from my research:<(4289)> [4286] Noah Character Study<(4290)> [4287] Abraham Character Study<(4291)> [4288] Jacob Character Study<(4292)> [4289] Joseph Character Study<(4293)> [4290] Joshua Character Study<(4294)> [4291] Gideon Character Study<(4295)> [4292] Samuel Character Study<(4296)> [4293] David Character Study<(4297)> [4294] Solomon Character Study<(4298)> [4295] Elijah Character Study<(4299)> [4296] Elisha Character Study<(4300)> [4297] Daniel Character Study<(4300b)> [4299] Outline History of the Apostles<(4307f)> [4302e] Principle Journeys and Events in the Life of David(4307e) Principle Journeys and Events in the Life of Saul {could not find this inthe ZTCR}Removing the archaeological supplement is something that if I need it, I can go to my Kirkbride edition. Do you have a change list with what else was edited or removed from Kirkbride edition for the Zondervan edition? It would help me make pen corrections.

Excellent Bible!
Here is my letter to Zondervan to fix the typographical corrections needed in this Bible text ~Dear John,I have found some typographical corrections needing to be made in the new Zondervan Thompson Chain Reference Bible, King James Version, the First Edition of the Premier Collection, which was published on November 1, 2022. I am assuming that the same corrections would be needed to the other formats of your KJV Thompson, since they all use the same pagination.I have placed the "corrected word" in quotation marks in its verse.**************************************************************Old Testament ~1) Page 13 - Genesis 11:3 - The wrong spelling "Thoroughly" should be spelled "Throughly", without the first "o", to read: And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them "throughly".2) Page 680 - Job 33:4 - There should be a capital "S" on "Spirit" to read: The "Spirit" of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.3) Page 888 - Jeremiah 2:22 - It should be spelled "sope", not "soap", to read: For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much "sope", yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.It seems contrary, to logic, but the King James Translators DID choose the spelling of "sope', not "soap", as did both the Oxford and the Cambridge standardized-spellings editions of 1769.4) Page 932 - Jeremiah 34:16 - The word "he" in this verse should be "ye", to read: But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom "ye" had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.5) Page 979 - Ezekiel 11:1 - There should be a capital "S" on "Spirit" to read: Moreover the "Spirit" lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD's house, etc.6) Page 1099 - Nahum 3:16 - It should be "flieth", not "fleeth",to read: Thou hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of heaven: the cankerworm spoileth, and "flieth" away.New Testament ~7) Page 1171 - Matthew 4:1 - There should be a capital "S" on "Spirit", to read: Then was Jesus led up of the "Spirit" into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.8) Page 1304 - Acts 11:28 - There should be a lower case "s" on "spirit", instead of the incorrect capital "S", to read:And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the "spirit" that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.9) Page 1455 - 1 Peter 1:10 - It should be "inquired", not "enquired", to read: Of which salvation the prophets have "inquired" and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:10) Page 1469 - 1 John 5:8 - There should be a lower-case "s" on "spirit" to read: And there are three that bear witness in earth, the "spirit", and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.I hope these corrections can still be included in the next printing of the KJV Thompson Chain Reference Bible! If so, then your Bible will set the standard of excellency for accuracy in a modern King James Version of the Bible!Thank you for doing this!Blessings in Christ!Paul G.

The book of Marks opening page where is says date written it says 58 bc when it should say AD
I like it a lot, heavy to carry around all the time but everything else is good I just didn’t pay attention when it said black letter so none of the books have red letters
