Looks exactly as pictured, nice and thick, I was looking at cheaper options but I think it's worth the upgrade, I can see myself using this for multiple costumes for years, the hood is huge, which is really nice.

It was inconsistent to the product advertised like other reviewers have mentioned. My cloak had a wooden peg with leather straps to keep the neck-area closed, the outside fabric being a felt-like material and the interior being polyester/nylon. Nowhere was it mentioned having a wooden peg around the neck, nor did any other reviews show this.

Its a nice cloak, the material is heavy and warm for a cool spring night. Much better quality than the usual costume capes you find. The only thing I don't like is that the weight of the cloak tends to pull back on my throat. The design is nice and wide across the front of the neck though, which helps distribute some of the pressure.
