JUST DON’T BOTHER!
Scanner Diagnostic for VCM 2, 2 in 1 Dianostic Scanner Multilanguage IDS Diagnostic Tool Repalcement for Ford V121, Car Diagnostic Coding Tool Scanner Code Reader I’m an automobile Master Tech and consider myself to be a bit of a PC Geek, but after 5 days I have given up! The drivers and programs coming on plain white, unmarked CDs, should have been a giveaway, but I’m up for a challenge. (One CD sleeve did have a sort of “M” in pen on it, so I took it that was the MAZDA disc?). After following the very poor set up instructions and trying with numerous laptops, the VCI either failed to be recognised or the MAZDA IDS program failed to load. I set up a Virtual Machine on one of the laptops and tried again using various windows operating systems, again with no success. Loads of internet searches for missing files and adding those made no difference. Nowhere in the instructions does it specify an operating system, but reverting back to the listing, it does say that “OS needs to be for WINDOWS XP SP3”. No, that’s doesn’t make any difference either. At one point I thought that I had cracked it, but even when the MAZDA IDS software did load, if you attempt a Manual Vehicle search, it only gives you Ford options, but still doesn’t recognise the VSI! Not wanting to give up, I started searching for other IDS programs and drivers and started the process again. Now on day 6, I have admitted defeat and will be starting the return process via Amazon. P.S. Oh by the way, you cant load the Ford IDS and MAZDA IDS on the same PC, something I did find out, so again don’t buy if you want to do that.

Clone Chinese Rubbish
This is a clone device. Stay away. It'll work on Forscan but will do nothing more than a Forscan lead costing £15.
S**C
I was really excited for this device so I could reprogram my f150 using IDS or FDRS but this device does not get found when I try using the software to lookup the device. When you try to update the device it shuts down even with 2 sources of power this is completely garbage.
