Used these for replacing L.ED. bow rail lights. Worked perfect, ¼" lights, tight pushing any larger butt connectors would be extremely difficult.

These connectors work very well and are insulated when you use heat. I'd recommend a heat gun over a lighter. The shrink wrap holds tight to the wire. The butt connector works well with any crimping tool. Overall, these are great quality especially for the price!

Being buying these terminals for the last year ana half. Never fail, good quality. Seal and crimp is excellent, that is if you use the proper tools to do the job.

The fittings are secure. My only gripe is with the heat shrink. They require a high heat to start shrinking but quickly begin smoking and turning black if you apply that same heat continuously. You really need to heat for a few seconds, wait 10-20 seconds, then heat again for them to shrink properly around your connections. This is not how shrink tubing typically behaves.. however, this IS thicker than the heat shrink tube you probably usually use, and I suspect much more durable in the super long term.
