my son is making great progress with his music lessons using this book as the basis of his tuition, and has already given an impromptu concert to grandparents to show what he can do. Very pleased

Recommended by brass teacher, seems ok but would prefer more modern tunes.

This was purchased for my 7 year old son who had just started trumpet lessons at school. The book was recommended by his teacher and is used during the lessons. He also uses it at home for practising and works great for both supervised and unsupervised practise.

Great starter book.. though it might be a bit kiddy but knowing the tunes really helped and they are structured to be just demanding enough. Highly recommended if you are just starting out as a kid or an adult.
