Great quality gorgeous door handles with s*** screws
I first bought one, then another one, then another one.The handle itself is beautiful, has a nice profile too, and is very solid and heavy - feels expensive and just gorgeous. The only dissapointment is that the screws that comes with it are chep, the black colour on them peels off easily, and as you screw them they break into little splinters - two of which lodged in my thumb! But who cares? - the handles are really awesome, so just get better screws, or pre-drill deep holes with a gimlet so the screws can slide in with a minimum of effort. As with many other door handles - the screw holes are not standard, so if you are replacing door handles you might have to paint/cover/fill the previous holes and make new ones. The rectangular center-piece is large enough to cover smallest/cheapest standard size door handles, but you might still have to be prepared to tidy up the door if they can't be fitted at exactly the same place.Overall - great quality gorgeous door handles with s*** screws. Given the quality, it is still VERY good price compared to other UK d.i.y. shops, so go for it!

Quality handle with cheap screws
Handles are well crafted and beautifully made the only thing that let's is down is the screws provided which seems to have the strength of butter i predrilled and screwed in a similar size screw after the first rounded off and even then they were rounding off as i screwed them in, i managed to get 7 out of 8 screwed inIf buying would recommend throwing away the provided screws and using your own

High quality handles, low quality screws.
Firstly, the handles are excellent quality, we were going to buy similar from a large DIY retailer for £16 a pair. We have put them on our 1930's pine doors which we had stripped and then waxed them. See photo. As others have mentioned the screw are awful, 7 of which are too damaged to use out of 6 handles we bought, I predrilled the holes but the metal is so soft is scuffs easily and causes discoloration and sharp edges. Be very cautious when screwing them in.

5 stars for the handles (-5 stars for the supplied screws)
The handles feel solid and weighty. The paintwork seems good and doesn't feel like it will chip or wear off easily. The action works well and I am more than happy with these handles - especially at half the price a nearly identical handle costs on the high st.The screws supplied with the handles though are useless though - I can't emphasise this enough. They feel like they are made from lead rather than steel. Even after pre-drilling holes, the screws wouldn't drive into the door. Will all the care in the world, you'll strip the top of the screws really easily and they'll look a mess. One screw just twisted in half as I screwed it into the wood (I'm honestly not that strong). These handles are a good price and the handles are fine. But you'll need to either find some decent quality black screws to buy (quite difficult I've found), or get a can of metal spray paint and make your own.

Loved them
We have not put them onto the doors yet due to different factors, but we have opened the package and loved the handles. We are very pleased with our purchase and would recommend them.

Look great on a white door
Handles look great. Screws look hand forged in the 16th century. I like it.
