Best paint for cool rooof
I used it on metal sheet roof, and I don't have tools to measure the Temp difference. But I can assure and garrenty you it's working as expected. I can feel 20 degree Celsius reduction in temp. My room temp is now the real room temp. I'll update review how long it will last. But for sure I'll suggest it. Go for it

Impressive Heat Reduction and Improved Indoor Comfort with Luminx Reflective Paint
I recently applied the heat reflective paint by LuminX on my terrace, and the results have been truly impressive. The product significantly reduced the surface temperature of the terrace, which in turn helped cool down the rooms below. We noticed a noticeable drop in indoor temperature, especially during the peak afternoon hours. This has made the indoor environment much more comfortable and has reduced our reliance on air conditioning. Highly recommend this product for anyone looking to improve energy efficiency and beat the heat!

Good reflective product however not for long
The product was applied on terrace tiles and for reflection of heat however it didn't stand the heat and also caught fungus on surface. Don't waste money on this product. It was applied in April 2025 and not it has black fungi and is getting peeled at various points. I have applied 2 layers and followed instructions

Temperature drop of 30c in roof metal sheet!
Looking for a solution to beat Kerala summer heat emiited from metal roof sheet, came across Luminx roof coat. Bought 25kg Luminx & 12kg Berger roof coats for analysing the temperature drop on 800sqft metal sheet. The old sheet top surface was pressure cleaned removing all debris & dirt. Bought 25kg Luminx & 12kg Berger roof coats for analysing the temperature drop on 800sqft metal sheet. The old sheet top surface was pressure cleaned removing all debris & dirt. We were careful to apply the first Luminx coat early morning when the sheet was cool after diluting with 20% water. The second coat was applied similarly next day over the first coat dried. The third final coat was applied with Berger roof PU coat since they have 10y vs. 5y for Lumix. The result is a fantastic drop of 30c ! in surface temp of metal sheet during hot afternoon sun of atmospheric 38c. The bottom surface of sheet metal absorbs & radiates highest heat - from 66c it's dropped to 36c - difference of 30c !! Attached is a continuous video for proof. Don't believe the naysayers who claim it does not work.
