Quality Black Ink
I have an Epson XP-322 printer and needed to replace only the black ink cartridge. This cartridge is a genuine replacement and has been printing good quality images, good value for money.

Good but Pricey
I don't do much printing basically boarding passes and the occassional document but these print ok and my printer does not reject it as being a none genuine ink cartridge. I do find they run out quickly which is why I think they are pricey. I am not sure if it is my printer or the cartridge so just saying this for those in the know... that often when I print I have lots of blank lines and smudges. I clean my printer head and the next version is perfect. I don't know if this is because it is a week since I last used it, or my printer is old or if the cartridge itself is old and drying out. I do shake it before fitting as suggested. Just thought I would mention in case if affects your decision to buy.

This ink appears to be getting harder to find. This was good value and seems to be printing okay. The printer is maybe not feeling the best. Anyone got a way to explain to boomers that printers may not last as long as they used to?

and like colours however don't try and clean the print heads ...
The ink is okay,and like colours however don't try and clean the print heads with this ink as you will end up having to buy a new set.If they don't clean the first time clean the heads manually.And I used Epson genuine ink all the time and still get blocked print heads.So don't believe you only get this problem with compatables.Print in text and graphics to save ink,unless you want photo prints use the best setting but this uses a lot of ink.The page yields Epson quote are no where near what you get.You do get nice colours with Epson though.
