I first bought this product in May 2024 and found it work very well. When I went to put on my winter alloy wheels recently I noticed a kerbing mark on a wheel which I should have noticed when I changed the wheels in the Spring. I went to use the repair kit and despite it being kept in a cool dry place the contents of the bottles where almost solid. This was not expected after only being opened less than 6 months previously. This product is not advertised as a one off only use which would appear that it is.

The rubbing down and cleaning was an improvement, but I could have just bought some wet and dry. The filler was good and did fill the gaps. The pair was too thick and the wrong tint, for BMW. I gave up before using the lacquer. Certainly better but not easy to get a very good effect.

Managed to refurbish alloys in a few hours. They look a lot better and I’m surprised at the results. I think it would be pretty impossible to completely repair alloys, scratches cover up nicely but deep gauges around the rim are a little tricky to completely fix, but this kit certainly improves the look of them. Good value for money. I only done the front 2 wheels so I think you would easily be able to do all 4 if needs be.

Whilst you give instructions for the overall process you have failed to suggest what the sponge is for and what the cloth is for… confirming which grit is finer and which is more course might also be useful for those with poorer sight or touch abilities - you could do more!

I'll admit, I curbed my car pretty badly and took a good chunk off of my wheel. Whilst as others say, the filler is thicker than describe, the whole kit worked a treat! Contains everything you need, and honestly didn't take me long at all. Have to really concentrate to actually find where I filled the tyre in! Would 100% recommend. The small gaps from picture are from my own mistake of not letting the filler dry, which kits ensures you do to avoid the mistake I made!

silver colour is close enough for most cars however the applicator brush is absolutely horrid and the putty is too thick. avoid unless really cheap; £20 is a ripoff
