Comfortable and Supportive – Really Helps!
I bought this hernia belt to help manage an umbilical hernia, and it has made a big difference. The material is soft yet firm, and it’s comfortable enough to wear throughout the day. I really appreciate the two compression pads—it provides targeted support exactly where it’s needed. The fit (L/XL) was true to size and adjustable, which helped me get the right amount of pressure without discomfort. This belt gives me peace of mind while staying active. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable hernia support!

Buy it
Though these are not medically promoted by either of my doctors offices, they actually help. They help in terms of applying pressure to the hernia which in turn, reduces discomfort. I can definitely tell when i do not wear this belt. Only complaint but not a deal killer, the edges tend to roll up vs staying flat.

Self prescribed treatment by me for me
Ease of use, well it just goes around your waist and velcros together. Quality and comfort is really good, better than I expected. I had noticed my belly button was all of a sudden an outie not an innie. After research, I realized I had an umbilical hernia. Also confirmed by a doctor. I'm still waiting for tests, but meanwhile I had started to get really bad stomach aches and my stomach was so far out there, my feet and knees were starting to disappear when I looked down. This comes with 2 pads I'm assuming for your comfort or size of hernia. After about a week of wearing it day and night, my stomach pains have gone away. After about a month of wearing it off and on, I've noticed I don't look like I swallowed a watermelon anymore and my knees and feet have reappeared. My pants are no longer harder to button and it appears as if it's finally shrinking. I read that a hernia belt is often the first phase of treatment doctors prescribe before jumping to surgery. So while I wait for my appointments, I'm just going to keep using this and hopefully avoid surgery. It looks promising, so if you have the same problem, def try this first. I mean I'm not a doctor or giving medical advice; I'm just sharing my experience. You can wash it by hand and hang dry if you need to. Drys rather quickly. I chose a small Medium, and I usually wear a medium in shirts. Surprisingly, it feels really good to put it extra tight in the beginning. I suspect because it's making everything go back to where it should be. You can also wear it underneath your clothes, and it's not noticeable at all. Super durable, as I live in Texas and it's super hot out here. It's not fraying or coming apart even after repeated use and washings. For $20 I think it's a very good buy for the results received.

It works
Got this for my husband who had a hernia. This helped him so much while waiting for his surgery date. Helped the hernia stay in when he coughed or did any little strain.

Solid product, sizing was too big for me
The product is solid. The sizing however was not right for me. I ordered the L/G and it is way too big to provide the necessary support. The return options were a refund or the a replacement of “the exact same item” which would be the wrong size again.

Hernia belt
It fit well and was easy to put on. However it said there were two pads in the package but I only got one.

Supportive and Comfortable on the Trail
My son is currently thru-hiking the PCT and developed a mild umbilical hernia. He was evaluated at a walk-in clinic and cleared to continue, but I sent him this hernia support belt to give him some extra stability and comfort. He says it’s been helpful and has made a noticeable difference while hiking. We’re grateful to have found something lightweight and supportive enough for his long trek.

Es de buena calidad , de altura no más ni menos, si tienes volumen se ajusta sin hacer pliegues, los aditamentos para los que recién nos operamos de tenía son ideales, muy buen producto.

This hernia belt looks like a elasticated back brace without the brace but instead the front panels are slightly stiffer and come with 2 different pads dependingmon the hernia on is round that has a hard section sticking out (think of how a fried egg looks as thats what it reminded me off ) and a more teardrop shop with a raised portion, this is the one i need more than the circular one however its good to have a choice so at least one is ideal for my sort of hernia. Wearing the belt and pad is comfortable and fits well, its nice to get a bit of relief when i didnt even know these belts existed until i saw this one so im very happy and glad i ordered it. For the relief it gives its worth the price at time of ordering.

I got this for my dad who has a Hernia on his stomach and he is still very active and likes to still do the gardening etc. He highly recommends this and uses it all the time when he's doing strenuous activities. It can be adjusted to fit with the velcro, and comes with 2 pads to attach if needed for extra support and to hold the hernia in place. 5* recommend

This hernia belt is excellent. I've been trying to find a comfortable hernia belt for a long time. The usual rubbish that I get through prescription are terrible and certainly not comfortable to wear with a great big leg strap. Having a hernia in my lower abdomen and having an active job I resorted to making my own with a sports belt and a pair of socks as a pad which worked and relieved pressure better than anything I've ever tryed, then I discovered this hernia belt and it's exactly what I've needed. It is very comfortable to wear and with the insert applys just the right amount of pressure to the hernia. The belt is like a weight lifting belt and really does reinforce your stomach and the worry of lifting heavy things at awkward angles is eliminated. It comes with two pad inserts, a round pad for your belly and the triangle shape for your abdomen. Overall this is great and reccomend to anyone with a hernia to try this belt. Thanks so much.

Let’s face it: hernias are about as welcome as a pop quiz on a Friday. Enter the AbdomenCare Umbilical Hernia Belt—a true superhero in disguise (minus the cape, but plus a Velcro strap). This belt hugged my belly like a supportive grandma, holding everything in place with the gentle but firm conviction of someone who refuses to let you skip dinner. Comfort? You bet. I sometimes forget I’m even wearing it—until I realize I’m confidently tying my shoes without doing the “hold and hope” maneuver. Discreet under clothes and more dependable than my WiFi, this belt gives my abdomen the backup crew it’s always deserved. Bonus: It’s so easy to use, I felt like I’d unlocked a cheat code for grown-up health. Setup was faster than inventing excuses to avoid the gym. And now, my hernia has met its match—secure, supported, and almost jealous of all the TLC my midsection gets now! If your belly needs a boost and you want to walk tall (and maybe even do the Macarena) without worry, this belt is your trusty sidekick. Five stars, two thumbs (and one happy hernia) up!
