Magic Pill
Had persistent bloating and it had been a month or 2 since I reordered these. I didn’t realize they made such a difference until I found an old stash in a travel bag and popped ONE to see if it would help the crazy, pressurized bloating that recently has me looking 5 months pregnant. That was last night and this morning? Flat as can be. (Lately I’ve been waking up super bloated.) I reordered ASAP. I’ve also been very lethargic and achy lately, but woke up this morning in my first alarm and in a good mood. Crazy how gut health affects our mood so much. I trust Garden of Life with MY life; their supplements are all top quality. Just a note: I did experience die-off when I first started taking these, which was very unpleasant. Take a binder, and start at a very low dose (1 pill) if you’re susceptible to a Herx reaction or if your gut is super out of whack.

HELPS AMAZING! Must drink full glass water and with food
LIKE: Everything. HELPED MY Upper and lower GI almost immediately. More below. NOTE: Please drink a full glass of water and have food with these capsules. Me: I've had IBS all my life. Doctors couldn't find root solutions; neither could I. Then in 2022 I contracted C-Diff from unclean take-out food (it was contaminated with C-Diff) [note: C-Diff is occurring more in take out order since the pandemic, said my GI doctor, because more employees and customers are rushing, etc. I don't know this as a fact other than my MD told me]. The C-Diff went undetected for 6 months, while it stripped my GI system of its lining. This resulted in a slew of issues. One forever change now is that my body cannot produce natural enzymes resulting in the most horrendous flatulence and other issues keeping me at home. I read the reviews of GOL Ultra Digestive Enzyme. I focused on the positive reviews and ordered. I am SO amazed with the almost-immediate relief of gas, ability to digest various foods, and huge decrease in stools. TMI I know, but you likely wouldn't be reading this if you too don't suffer from horrible GI problems. The capsules were all intact, the seal was tight. I TAKE 1-2 capsules with everything I eat (per MD advice, please consult your own MD for dosage). That's about 6-8 capsules daily x 7 = ~ 50 /week. Expensive. But so is being sick, and watching my body deteriorate and numerous wasted medical appointments. I will stick with this product. And continue regular monitoring and labs with my medical team. NOTE!!! This product has both ginger and turmeric. These may account for SOME of the bad reviews about stomach upset. My experience with turmeric particularly alerted me, FOR EACH MEAL OR SNACK OR DRINK, to have FULL glass of water (6-8 ounces) + food WITH the capsules. If I take them without water or food, I do get bad stomach aches. But I solved that quickly and followed the directions. Also, drank more water while taking the capsules. The expiration date is 7/2024, no problems there. I RECOMMEND at least trying this product if the 90-capsule jar is available (less $ for trial run). Best to all of you!

Pretty Good
I had my gallbladder removed back in April of 2011, and that initially seemed to fix all of my digestive issues. However, I ended up getting pregnant pretty quick after that, and since pregnancy slows the digestive system down, I don't think my body was fully able to adjust to having no gallbladder the way it needed to. I was fine through my pregnancy, but once I had my son, my digestive system became a wreck. Initially I went through extreme phases of not being able to keep anything in me, to not being able to get anything out. It was horrible and sometimes the time between phases was mere hours!! I tried taking bile salt supplements and they didn't really do the trick. They very rarely helped. Then, to top things off, my stomach started bloating up with every little thing I ate or drank, and boy do I mean even the smallest drink of something (juice, water, milk, etc). So I started doing more research on supplements for people without gallbladders and came across these. They've worked pretty darn well! I can't say they're perfect, because they don't always do a lasting effect (ie-they help immediately after a meal, but then within an hour or two I feel miserable again), but I'm going to see a doc in a week to see if I might need to up the dose or something. I was initially taking them before each meal as directed, but I've found that it's much more effective to take them, if needed, after or near the end of my meal, if I feel like I'm bloating up. They work almost instantly for me. Again, they still don't achieve optimal results, but until I can get to my appt. and possibly figure out what else is causing havoc with my stomach, they definitely make my life much more tolerable!

My Go-To Digestive Enzymes for Years!
I’ve been using Garden of Life OmegaZyme Digestive Enzymes for YEARS. This is hands-down my favorite digestive enzyme supplement. It’s like a little miracle for my stomach. I feel the benefits almost immediately after taking it, especially with heavier meals. It helps with bloating and keeps everything running smoothly, if you know what I mean. The ingredients are a huge plus, and I love that it’s from a brand I trust. If you need digestive support, this is the one to get.

Great product and some advice too
Look, I'm no doctor but I've lived a very long time with digestive tract issues/ailments and learned a few things. The most important are twofold: 1) Doctors don't know everything; 2) Be responsible for your own health and KNOW YOUR OWN BODY! From Crohn's disease to diverticulitis/dverticulosis, I have had a too long journey through digestive/intestinal tract hell. I have suffered explosive (often bloody) diarrhea and constipation in the same 12 hr period. Doctor's have been of little help. It wasn't until I took control of my own body by changing my diet (hey men HAVE to have certain things in our diet women don't, and there are definitely things guys - especially older guys like me - need to avoid) and adding a few crucial supplements that I was able to find digestive peace and have done so now for two years now. This Garden of Life Omega-Zyme product I initially found in one of the major chain vitamin stores (at a significantly higher price!) a couple of years back. I eventually switched over to the Ultimate Digestive Blend to see if it provided even better results than the good I'd already experienced. I never went back to the the regular blend. Amazon pricing is much more reasonable on top of that. I use this product 3 times a day. Morning, midday and before bedtime after dinner. Used in conjunction with a 50 billion bacteria probiotic product not offered on Amazon (hopefully one day it will) taken once a day, my digestive issues have almost been completely eliminated only (well to be honest: mostly only) arising when I go off my dietary regimen and "treat" myself to too much of bad thing for someone with my particular health issues. Two of my teenage kid's developed the same issues I have (which I in turn think is hereditary as my father and one of my sisters shared these ailments) and I started them on these same two products and there been no more doctor's office visits since. If you want to try something else when other doctor prescribed medications fail or make you sick in other ways. Try this stuff along with a good probiotic supplement. Forget about yogurt. Pasteurization ruins yogurt's ability to offset the "bad" bacteria in your digestive tract with "good" bacteria. Yogurt is a waste of money. Hope this helps someone feel better and get healthy.

Great enzymes, but broken pill spilled inside bottle
The enzymes work great and they help with digestion of a variety of foods from protein and fats to vegetables and carbs. I’m very happy with that. My problem is that when I opened the bottle there was a cloud of yellow dust covering everything. It wasn’t until I found a broken pill inside the bottle that I understood why. Basically the ingredients of one of the pills had spilled out. I do t understand how a pill can break inside the bottle. It seems that it was placed inside broken or maybe as it was being placed in there. Either way it seems that my pills could be contaminated by whatever broke the pill.
