Does it prevent further tanning and pigmentation? Is someone still using it?

Generally the bigger spy factor, the less tanning. Factor 50 is a high one therefore considered a tanning blocker. I suffer from hyperpigmentatipn and was recommended to use factor 50 suncreams. All the ones I tried before felt heavy and cakey being a factor 50, leaving a nasty white glow on my skin, making me look like a ghost in my holiday snaps! This is the first SPF50 that really does feel like velvet when putting on my skin, does not leave the heavy white layer on amd prevents my hiperpigmentation. I personally recommend highly! (Just remember to reapply every now and then throughout the day!)

What is the uva protection of this product please, it isnt even given a mention on their own site.

This is how they responded in answer to my question: "We would like to inform you that, based on European Union laws, the product's (Sun Screen Velvet SPF 50+ ) UVA rating is at least the 1 /3 of UVB rating. UVB rating is 50+. The UVA Star ratings is not an official European Union regulation. It was created by a private company and it's not an official rating which all companies must be relied on. We are following the European Union regulation. Unfortunately, we don't have this kind of UVA star rating or PA ratings for our products. What we can also comment is that the principal UVA filter that we use is DHHB which has superior photostability (this is very important when you compare the UVA protection of sunscreen products) and superior radical scavenging activity (free radicals are one of the main detrimental impacts that UVA has onto the skin). We have performed a very specific test regarding the Radical Potential of our product proving its superior radical protective activity. I highly recommend this product.

Should this be applied before or after my skincare.?

Is your product free from animal testing?

According to the European legislation of Cosmetics, the cosmetic products MUST be tested (as far as their safety and efficacy are concerned) on healthy human volunteers in certified clinical laboratories. Furthermore, the European/USA/Korean/Japanese producers of the raw materials that we use, are conformed to the European Legislation of Cosmetics which means they have stopped performing animal testing even for toxicological data since 2009.
