Tides of Change - The Chinese coastline, whale sharks, birdlife, dolphins and how animals and humans co-exist.I'd say Nature's Great Events is one of the best series I've seen concerned with natural history for the sheer scale and spectacle. Maybe Galapagos doesn't quite reach the heights of the others occasionally being a bit repetitive visually and in commentary but that only relegates it to a 9 out of 10 as opposed to 10 out of 10. An incredible package overall. The descriptions above are far from comprehensive, each episode containing far more then I could recall as well as context, visual splendour etc.The filmography is amazing; I can't directly compare this with the dvd equivalent but can only say the picture is mostly crystal clear, very sharp and totally immersive.

Its good, but too much repetition sometimes...
The Galapagos and South Pacific documentaries shouldve been done together, they do share a fair bit of footage and Benedict Cumberbatch is a much better voice over than Tilda Swinton, who sounds a bit bored sometimes. But considering the Galapagos are in the South Pacific, and constantly referred to during the South Pacific series, they shouldve just stuck 3 episodes on the end...Wild China and Natures Great Events are interesting, well filmed and, well... exactly what you'd expect of BBC documentaries. For close to 20 quid, you get hours of HD quality, educational and well presented information. Well worth it in my opinion and its been a great companion during my sick week of work

well worth the (modest) price.
sometimes I look for a great set of "nature" films at a great price, and I find a set, and I check it out, and it always turns out to be this one AGAIN.WE love it.Some slightly overlapping material, but well worth the (modest) price.

Brilliant bbc wildlife documentaries as always
Really really like this. We have also got frozen planet and the life collection so we do love our nature program's. it's a shame David Attenborough isn't narrating throughout all the discs but all four discs are good and it's quite a diverse collection. The blu ray picture quality is amazing

Too many negative reviews about the poor quality...
... about the poor quality of the BR edition. Having already some of the boxes in normal DVD format, I don't see the advantage of buying the BR discs if this if not an improvement to the DVD edition.I rated this one star only to be able to give my opinion after having read many bad reviews on this topic, both about the BB natural History Box Set and the Wild China box, which I am really the most interested in. I based my decision about not buying Wild China after having read many comments on the above.

Natures greatest events didn't play on my PS3 but when I put it in my Phillips 3D player, which is a lot newer than a PS3 it worked just great. Don't be discouraged about it not playing, just need a new player.
