Does this work with electric roller doors

Should work on any door that doesn't open inwards.

Seal has arrived but the lip that makes contact with the garage door is hard rubber....no give whatsoever. How can this seal if the door moves?

When the door is closed the door should rest agains that hard seal. Is not intended to go over that seal.

What is the width of the strip?

It is as wide as the normal sized garage, I hah to trim a bit off to fit

Garage floor at bottom of the door slopes outwards & has a gap of 8mm between floor and door. Can front of this bend at the slope along the length?

Most garage floors have a uniform slope from the backwall towards the door to ensure water from a dripping car or leaking fuel makes its way out. If in your case you are saying the slope only begins under the door then you will have to gently warm the outer lip to deform it down at the required angle. In January this is a ‘must-do’ while in Summer months I’m sure it would be flexible enough to stick down? Use a heat- gun or the Wife’s hairdryer to form the angle & ensure the concrete is totally clean, dry & dust-free. Use a branded quick-drying ‘grab-adhesive’ to form a zig-zag bed for the seal with a straight solid bead for the front & back edge. Push firmly down & add weights to hold until set. Goof Luck.🤞
