Very Happy
I wanted to see the moon closer so my first buy was a 10x50 because everyone said that is enough to be hand held and yes they were light but I wanted more magnification so I bought 25x70 from Celestron, very good sharp image and I could bring objects a lot closer than 10x50 and yes they were a little heavier and everyone said you need a tripod but I did not need it. After that I decided I want even more magnification, most of the comments were against zoom binoculars and reasons were double image, not focusing, highest zoom not usable, etc., and they claimed to be experts writing the reviews and I trusted them so I bought a telescope with 70 mm lens, big disappointment as the image is so small using one eye only... so I decided to buy Celestron 20-100x70 anyway because I really wanted the magnification.Delivery and packaging perfect, like always with Amazon. They come with a metal tripod adapter which is better than the plastic one that comes with 25x70.My experience while using these:I took them out, magnification at 20x look at one building all nice sharp and clear like I was hoping. Weight at 1.5 kg, again I don’t need a tripod because of the weight but you might.I then started to zoom and at around 50x and I experienced what people were saying, in the center it was the building, sharp image, clear, but around the edges it was something like double vision, but in the center I could still see clear, I zoomed at 100x and the image became smaller, and I had to adjust the focus a little to see it clear, so I had a smaller image, sharp clear in the center, but still with some double vision around the edges. I pushed the eye relief down and voila! Everything was clear nothing double and a nice big full image at 100x. I played with it for a while and I have to say that for anything from 20x to around 50x you can use it with eye relief up, if you go from 50x to 100x you need to push the eye relief down so you will not see the double vision around the edges and you have to adjust a little the focus, that’s it. So yes you can see double vision, you can see blurred image but you need to do adjustments, these binoculars are not point and see, you need a little patience.I can zoom at 100x hand held but it is shaky, so not for the weight but to be able to see without the shake at 100x I bought a tripod, “Hama Star 62 Tripod with Carry Case”. Very happy with both items and I am sorry for the “experts” complaining but I think these binoculars are great and worth every penny but you need patience and common sense to use them for the first time. I don’t work for Celestron or Hama.

Great quality binoculars.
I purchased these Celestron binoculars for my son to use for astronomy. We mounted them on a tripod with the supplied adapter for extra stability which is recommended for prolonged use. He has been able to witness star clusters, galaxies, Jupiter (plus Galilean moons) and Saturn (with rings visible) with them. The image detail is quite crisp even at maximum magnification. He has also used them for birdwatching and got some great detailed images so we would recommend them.

good value for the size
Nice Binoculars but too heavy to be hand held, lots similar on the market but without the zoom and this is a must also works well with a tripod stick which keeps you on the move.

best binacular
this is the best and strongest binocular i have seen, you can see the moon details at night, it is really 20-100 Xit desire what was paid .of course when zooming to 120X you need to hold your hands or hold it on a stand in order to see, otherwise the picture will stay shaking and you cant see anything.material was rubber i believe , it is not water proof but splash proofnot small, but strong....i really recommend it

Double image!!
I am still awaiting the arrival of my tripod but so far I am far from impressed. The image appears blurry even on only 20x magnification but as soon as the zoom is used the image doubles and blurs greatly. The eye pieces are fairly close together so do not fit comfortably to my eyes. Shall see how they work with the tripod. I can't see any purpose in adding a zoom mechanism to binoculars unless it is going to work to s sufficient standard. Rather disappointing.

couldnt be happier. theyre much cheaper
the "20-100" magnification is more of a gimmick, headline grabbing selling point than anything. totally unusable. 25x is the maximum usable magnification for a 70mm lens for a product in this price range. add to that the one i received was not quite collimated right. both horizontal and vertical. returned them for a refund and bought the Celestron Skymaster 15x70. couldnt be happier. theyre much cheaper, way more usable and the eye relief is amazing. i can use them for hours without any trouble. seller was great. no hassle and gave me a refund straight away. i will definitely buy from these guys again. if your thinking about buying these because it says "OMG THEY CAN DO 100X ZOOM". dont. dont get fooled like i did. buy the celestron skymaster 15x70 or 25x70.
