They come as a pair and are rather good worth the money

Q: How can I Connect it to my computer and do I need to use it along with an amplifier ?

Hi,I have a little unit called a "Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi" which connects to my laptop via USB and the speakers plug into it. I don't have an amplifier connected as I think this "Sound Blaster" replaces the need for an amplifier.Hope this helpsTim
