Great battery for my solar shed! :-)
I am using this battery as the power storage for an off grid shed. It’s been topped up with a 100w solar panel. The set up has been in for a few days and the battery is getting charged up fine. The battery supplies a 1000w sine wave inverter that provides light and power to the odd lower wattage powered tool. I will probably replace the 240v lights, that came with the shed, with LEDs run from the load output of the charge controller. The set up provides power for a few hours in the evening so not to too deeply discharge the battery and to allow the solar panel to top it back up again. If my usage is going to be heavier I will add another panel to ensure it gets topped up again quickly.

photonic universe 12v 100 ah deep cycle battery
I received this battery the day after I ordered it .The driver was polite & helpful & even offered to put the battery were ever I wanted in my bungalow because it is a heavy battery. The battery was very well packed in foam sponge all around inside a cardboard carton with strong straps. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now & all seems well . I am so pleased with the quality build I have just orderd another one & would well recommend. A. Foster.

A quality product from Photonic Universe
Recently I bought 100Ah 12V Photonic Universe deep cycle AGM battery for a motorhome, caravan, campervan, boat (leisure battery), solar, wind UPS or back up / off-grid.I intended to use it in a UPS supply water pump for a house local water heating.I made a preliminary battery test without charging it and found that the technical data, specified by the manufacturer's factory fully complied with my measurements of the charging and the discharging time. Thanks to the manufacturer for the excellent product I bought from and the team that designed this battery.

I wouldn't recommend running such a high load for longer than an ...
I am using this battery to run a small music studio. Most of the time I am running a lamp, small speaker set, and during these cold months a 400w/800w heater (although usually keep to to 400w to save battery. However, I have had an audio interface, mic pre-amp, a electric piano, small monitor screen, and a pair of yamaha HS7 studio monitors all hooked up together with the previously mentioned, running off Photonic's 2000w pure-sine inverter, and had no issues. I wouldn't recommend running such a high load for longer than an hour or so, but with the initial smaller set up I can easily be in there for up to 2-3 hours (and keep the battery from completely depleting in order to prolong its life expectancy).Only thing I'd mention is that it's heavy as hell, so don't be planning on hiking anywhere with it or some-such.

5 Stars
I have been using two of these batteries for 8 months, combined with solar panels on an off grid set up. I have combined two of these into one battery and they seem to last for ever. They hold the charge well. The batteries are well made, they are a little heavy and larger than a car battery. I am no expert on batteries but I am very happy with these and would highly recommend. Photonic Universe were a good, helpful company to deal with.

First one was excellent second one 5 years later is rubbish
Reviewing the second battery purchased Aug 2022It seems that a quarter of the cells in this battery are dead and despite being connected to solar panels and a mains charger it won't charge more than 75%. Both MPTT controller and my Fluke multimeter report that the battery voltage is 12.7v in the morning (rested state). A brand new battery should read 14.4v and not 12.7.There seems to be a general problem with Chinese battery products and they're dumping their rejects into the UK market.I have been in contact with the seller providing images of readings but they're refusing to replace or refund after 8 days that I had the battery. They're saying send the battery to us and we test it and let you know...The battery is 30kg and is not something that you can take to your local post office and send it.Reviewing the first one after 5 years:I had this battery since June 2017. It is still going with very light use holding the charge around 11.9 in the daytime with solar charging and less at night. Having said that, I have used my charger's repair function to get life back into it! I have concluded that unless you need the battery for very light use like lighting then you should buy more than one battery, i.e., less than 200ah won't do. Initially, I thought I would add more batteries to the system, however, I'm now stuck with an AGM battery while I fancy adding a Gel type or a bigger one. Although I can't see any issue linking two different types of batteries, in therm of linkage, I see that I may have a problem when I need to run a repair cycle with the charger. Conclusion:I can see that some of the problems that I've highlighted, initially, may have been avoided if I had two of the batteries and not just oneThe original review:I purchased this battery on 12 June 2017. It has been connected to two 100w high-efficiency solar panels and Photonic Universe MPPT Controller and has been in very light use. A fully charged healthy battery's voltage should read 14.4v and that's what you get in the early days of this battery's life. After 4 months of use, failing to see a charge over 12.5v I charged it with Genious G3500 mains charger for 20 hours, a fully charged status read 13.2 volts and it dropped to 12.5v after a few hours, feeding two 12v 5W light bulbs. Considering that any car battery last 4 or 5 years these days this performance is truly dismal.
