Excellent
Decided I had to retire my trusty old 3.5 litre slow cooker as it's too small for cooking in bulk with a view to freezing additional portions. Not that it didn't do the slow cooking job, but it was heavy with the crock pot and starting to show signs of age and having overflowed once (don't ask).Chanced across an ad (on TV I think) for a slow cooker with a metal bowl which could be used on the hob, so checked to see if anyone made one which worked with an induction hob. Success! This one. Ordered it up and Prime of course saw it delivered next day. Half the weight (maybe less) of my old stoneware cooker. Really nicely made - looks like a quality piece. Only surprise was that it's circular; I'd sort of taken it for granted it'd be oval, but it's not a problem. The controls are great - no push buttons, just rotary / digital controls to set High / Low / Keep Warm, and the cooking timer. When the timer runs out, the cooker switches to Keep Warm. The cooking vessel itself is very large and very light, and the non-stick ceramic finish is both tough and incredibly effective. Because of the light weight I was slightly concerned at first that I'd mis-read the product details and it wasn't an induction-ready bowl, but no worries on that front; works like a charm. One flaw is that the lugs / handles on the cooking bowl get as hot as the rest of the bowl (which is to say, 100C) but it's in the nature of a metallic bowl, designed to transfer heat evenly, that it transfers heat evenly (and well!). I guess Crock.Pot might have been able to get it made with cool-touch handles, but it would add to the cost, I suppose.Great to be able to cook in these quantities. Besides cool-touch handles, the only improvement I can think of offhand would be to make it programmable but that's not a huge omission. Very pleased, all in all.

Excellent slow cooker!
I have been thinking about buying a slow cooker for a long time and, after much reviewing across the internet, I decided to buy this one. It is more expensive than other brands but I like the fact that you can take the inside pot out and sear meat or brown onions on the hob before putting it back into the cooker. I have only used it once so far but it is really simple to use. The Chinese pulled chicken we made was delicious. The pan was very easy to clean afterwards too. I can't wait to use it again, after I search through the thousands of online recipes!!!

BEST SLOW COOKER EVER
The best slow cooker I’ve ever had!! It’s great that you could cook and sauté in the stove with it and if you may need it you can place it directly in the oven for a final touch!! It’s not only useful but it has a beautiful design, it’s not heavy at all but at the same time is durable and made with great materials. Fantastic product at an unbeatable price for what it has to offer. I really recommend this incredible product.

Disappointing quality
First one came with ceramic layer faults, so returned it right after opening. Second one came fine, but developed crust spots in two weeks of use. Returned that one too. Maybe I am extremely unlucky, but not going to give it a 3rd go. Looking at other brands now.

Love that it can be used on the hob although ...
Arrived before due date.Love that it can be used on the hob although the handles get hot. Good non stick surface ( at least till now ).Would have been good to be able to set an " off " time but apart from that I am very happy with it.

Great slow cooker
Looks fab. Did pulled pork in it and was brilliant. Put the timer on then it went onto warm until we were ready to eat. The pot works brilliantly on my induction hob. Love it!

Beautiful but pricey!
Loved everything about it. Just couldnt justify spending that amount on just a slow cooker. It could fit a whole chicken in it. Brilliant but had to return it and keep the crockpot express which does everything. I so wanted to keep both. If it halves in price I will definitely have one it was lovely to use. Highly recommend it. I would point out that this and other slow cookers still cook at a higher rate than the older slow cookers.

Crock of Gold.
My wife bought this as an additional asset in her kitchen. She is very pleased with it and though she has only cooked one meal with it she found that being able to be place all the ingredients of the meal in the pot and then leave it to cook was fantastic. It has a large cooking pot that is more than sufficient for a family and with the cooker having a digital timer she found it very easy to operate.Recommended.
