It is quite a good backpack for the most part
It is quite a good backpack for the most part. There's plently of space to fit all that one could desire in it. The major downside is that the threads on the left strap have completely unraveled and the strap has ultimately come off. So, now I have a broken bag and a hole in my wallet! Only had the bag for 2 months so it's pretty lame......

Knife carrier missing
Great back pack however it was delivered with no knife case within it which means I’ve basically paid over £100 for a rucksack I’m not very happy at all

Great product
Really pleased with the bag, lots of segments for tools. The knife case holds all of my collection, I would advise knife guards.

I don't use the insert much but the ruck sack ...
I don't use the insert much but the ruck sack itself is used everyday and especially for overseas travel

Fantastic purchase, just what every chef needs
Well where do I start with this backpack......I am a chef and I compete in many competitions across the UK and the world. Over the past few years I've been looking for a bag that is durable, comfortable and good for multiple storage use. I had a so called chefs bag that wasn't comfy nor could I put a lot of my catering equipment in.Then I stumbled onto this bag whilst I was at a catering show " Hotelympia". This appealed to me as it's pretty plain and black which is great for the company I work for, the thing that stood out for me the most was all the different compartments it has at the front, adjustable pouch for extra storage thats not limiting and is secure. I love the fact that the front compartments are perfect for stationary, pens, pencils notbooks, business cards etc.The drinks pouches are great, my water bottle and flask fit in perfectly especially because of them being elasticated, I've never had anything fall out and I've had to run with it on. Yes I can see small tiny bottles not fitting so securely but there's the rest of the bag that that can fit in but an average size bottle fits wonderfully. The 2 main compartments of the bag, well what can I say..... brilliant. So I carry recipes that I've quickly squiggled down and I do tend to have alot of loose paperwork and there's seperate parts where I can put those so they don't end up really scrumbled or ripped, also any books or larger notepads can fit in there secuely, yes it's velcro but it keeps everything where it needs to be and I haven't had any isues with this at all. I keep a spare whites jacket in my bag just incase also my chefs shoes too, no problem at all fitting it in with the rest of my stuff. Lots of room. The back compartment is perfect for my laptop and any other bits of paperwork I have (I have alot). I love the fact that they've thought about what will be carried in the bag and the interior is really well thought out as it's all cushioned so nothing should get damaged by being shoved about or slightly banging into things whilst in a rush, which I do alot. I do love the red lining, easy to clean too just need a wet wipe and any spillages are easy to sort too.I find the bag extremelly comfortable to carry, the padding is well inpropotion and the fabric is nice and soft so it doesn't dig in and rub anywhere like my previous one did. There's also extra padding for the lower back which is genius, nothing digging in and spreads the weight across so it's not uncomfortable should you be carrying a few things which may make it a little heavy, the straps are of a good size and again doesn't dig in nor rub. I haven't found any issues with the stitching at all and I use this bag everyday for everything, it literally carrys my life . The rubber handle of the top of the bag is good as yet again if your in an area where you don't want to be carrying it, it's nice and comfortable on the hand to carry, instead of like other bags that cut off circulation with the fabric.I love this bag, it's perfect for any chef and it's been well thought out when being designed and made. I would recommend this to everyone, I think it has everything a bag needs and you want. This is definately worth the cost undoubtedly. I've never been so excited about a backpack in my life.
