**Review After 1 Year of Use** I chose this nail file and buffer pack based on good reviews, value for money, and the distinctive glass file. It was primarily for my mum to use, but my sister has also taken a shine to it and uses it almost daily. The items come in a neatly sized black plastic storage case that closes with hinges and a clip. This in turn is contained within a reusable clear polythene sleeve that fastens with a press stud. The instructions for the buffer were a bit unclear, particularly regarding the order in which the three different colours should be used. I contacted the company’s customer service team via email (as printed on the packaging) and received a reply within a few minutes. I was advised that the correct order is as follows: 1st: Red 2nd: White 3rd: Grey I also inquired whether there is any difference on either side or end of the glass file, and was informed that it has the same texture and abrasiveness all over. The customer service was excellent—very helpful and friendly. In use, the buffer performs well and meets expectations, comparable to any previous products I have bought, bringing nails to a gloss finish. The glass nail file is the standout feature of the set. It’s a step above other types, such as sandpaper, metal, and emery board nail files, in terms of durability, ease of cleaning, and swift results for lovely, smooth nails. I clean it with a small nail brush (ironically), with just a tiny amount of soap and water, for it to shine like new. All good so far. -Pros: • High-quality glass file. • Easy to clean. • Good value for money. • Handy case with a reusable protective sleeve. • Very helpful customer service. -Cons: • Buffer soon became slightly frayed at the edges. • Glass file has only one level of abrasiveness. Overall, this is an excellent product at a very reasonable price. The glass nail file in particular is true quality, and still looks like new after twelve months of regular use. This file is a winner! *Update* The file I bought most recently has a solid case - hurrah! Without a doubt this is the best nail file I have ever tried. Previously, I have used Leighton Denny's Crystal Nail File and (don't tell anyone....) I prefer this one! It feels so much smoother and the pointed end of this one comes in very handy, not to mention that it is half the price. The quality is outstanding, I don't know how they do it. The file feels very smooth to touch and the sides of the file are not etched so when you are filing close to the skin you won't get friction burn. With the file mentioned earlier you get a lot of vibration through the fingers, with this one you can barely feel it. Despite this, it still works remarkably well, it takes very little pressure to file your nails shorter and only light feathering to shape them. I used disposable nail files for years, I really didn't see the point in buying an expensive one as the disposables work fine, right? Well, as soon as I borrowed a friend's glass file I was sold - it feels like butter! Since then I haven't looked back and my nails are so much healthier from it. Also, when such good quality, inexpensive glass nail files are available and last for such a long time, it isn't better value to get disposables. I bought my first Three Swords nail file 5 months ago and it still works as well as the new ones, it hasn't dulled at all. If you feel like it has, simply rinse it under a tap and it's as good as new! Something else to note is that with glass files you can sterilise them, so if you drop yours on the floor you don't need to worry about floor-nasties getting embedded in your nails. On the subject of dropping them: I have done, many times (I am SO clumsy, you have no idea), on to tile, carpet and concrete from waist-height (I put it on my lap, forget it is there and stand up, shooting the poor thing across the room) and they still look perfect. For those of you asking if you can file in both directions with this one; it's never a good idea to file in two directions but if you are going to do so it's better to do it with one like this, that is so smooth, rather than the sandpaper style ones you buy at the pharmacy as it will do less damage. Negative - The 'case' is actually a velour pocket which doesn't do much to protect it in say a handbag, but you can buy a solid case from eBay or similar for pennies. Also the packaging has in large lettering "basic line" - so you may not want to give this one as a gift. No, I haven't been paid or given this free - I just really, really love this file and know how difficult it is to find a good one.

This is a relatively small nail file, but it's very effective. The case is very useful to help prevent breakage, but it can be a little tricky to open. I've included a photo of the file next to a pack of cards to give you a sense of the size. By far the best kind of nail file I've used.

I never thought I would get excited for nail file but this glass nail file is amazing! Feels like it will last forever. Will buy another one for my toes and kids nails. Also nu e to be buying a product not made from China!

Arrived on time , well packaged, with a clear customer service leaflet in case of disappointment. I have to say after years of using emery boards I am impressed with the glass nail file.

Works really well

I use a Leighton Denny glass file, I have a few of them and have used for years. I wanted a spare glass file to keep in the car, but didn't want to spend the £'s for a LD one. I came across this while searching Amazon - very impressed, seriously good and with a great case too. I haven't tried the buffer yet, so cannot comment but for the file and case alone this is a bargain. Have returned to leave Feedback and buy another. Many thanks to the Seller and Amazon 👍💐
