Coleman Galileo 5 Tent Tunnel

Perfect size tent for a family with small children. Packs down to a reasonable size and the bag is generous enough that you can actually get everything in, every time.Construction quality is good and I would imagine - although I haven't yet been in that situation - that it would survive anything but the worst weather. Then the simple tunnel design might show its age.If you've been camping before, then putting it up is easy. If not it will take a couple of goes to get into the swing. One tip is that the "keys" sewn into the tabs insert into the poles at ground level (they're not pegs!)

Just tried our new tent in rain and it leaked so badly we were dripped on, soaked and had large puddles forming. It wasn’t even raining that hard. We had to go on a prolonged hunt for a large tarpaulin and poles to protect the whole thing. Even then it soaked through the vertical walls. Not one bit of the outer fabric was waterproof. We would have been better off with a cheap festival tent. Shame on you Coleman

Took it to a festival having not been able to try it out beforehand, took myself and my partner 20 mins to put it up, beautifully straight forward. Top tip - pin the four corners down first. It was quite windy but the tent stood up to it with no problems. Think it would be a little cramped for five people, but great for four. Plenty of room for table and chairs etc.

Good tent for a family. I would give 5 stars, but back window net torn in a first day - it took too much pressure from the wall. Sleeping room could be a bit longer, tall persons (1,9m) doesn't have a lot space to sleep. Rain or wind are not a problem for this tent despite its height.

We had two amazing family holidays with tent this year... very well made.. totally waterproof.. and very warm to sleep in!!!Easy to set up and pack away! Yes it goes back in the bag it came in!!I'm saving up for the extention to add to this so that we have more storage space for extras...

We enjoyed very much the tent during our holidays that summer. Spacious tent and very good quality.

My tent has a manufacturing fault, it will not erect properly. The fittings for the centre telescopic pole are sewn on a foot out, and it is impossible to erect it.It is possibly a fake. The 'Outdoor gear Group' who I purchased it from have unhelpfully told me it is genuine and its unlikely to have a problem.So.. if this is how the tent is designed, its very poor, just stay away. I regret buying this tent.

We are away on holiday and have erected tent for first time only to find there is a small tear in the roof material and one of guy rope attachments is stitched very badly. On our return I will be asking for a replacement but we will have to use it for now as I said we are away from holiday. The way it was packed , it may have been out to another customer as it wasn't like new when we tipped out of the bag.

The media could not be loaded. Namiot super, dużo miejsca, natomiast wykonanie masakra. Część, w której jest sypialnia przecieka (nawet przy normalnym, małym deszczu). Materiał, z którego jest zrobiony namiot wchłania wodę i kapie do środka. Oprócz tego woda spływa na boki i jest jej pełno pod materacami.

Ottima tenda. Rifiniture buone. Facile da montare. Non ho potuto testare l'impermeabità perchè non ha piovuto durante l'utilizzo però con la vasca di appoggio a terra cucita alla tenda sicuramente acqua da sotto non entra. Spaziosa e ottima per 4 persone NON PER 5. UN'ALTRA PECCA sono le zip di chiusura, NON sono zip antiacqua. Sono zip normali. Quindi per l'impermeabilità ci si affida alla patellette di copertura delle stesse che non sempre si chiudono benissimo e sono a velcro. POTEVANO inoltre fornire due paletti per verandare l'ingresso.

La estrenamos este verano, Una acampada de más de diez días. Tenemos experiencia previa con tiendas grandes y el montaje de esta es sencillo. Hacen falta dos personas en algún momento puntual.La tienda es muy amplia, la usamos dos adultos y dos niños (con el trastero que llevan asociado). Es la primera que tenemos con el suelo de bañera y mosquiteras integradas, respecto a esto decir que es una comodidad absoluta.Comentar qué nos llovió, de forma moderada, y no tuvimos ningún problema con el agua.Respecto al volumen ocupado en el maletero. Dado que hemos tenido tiendas más grandes y mas pequeñas, yo diría que ocupa un volumen adecuado dada la amplitud que luego ofrece ya montada.Por ponerle una pega, me habría gustado que la puerta frontal (que cuenta con un plástico transparente a modo de ventana) también hubiera tenido mosquitera. Esto habría sido genial, ya que si contara con dos puertas con mosquitera, la ventilación mejoraría mucho.La recomiendo muchísimo para cuatro.

Nous avons fait quinze jours de camping avec cette tente. Elle possède un bel espace de vie où nous pouvons tenir debout.

Wir haben ein Zelt für uns zwei und ein Kleinkind gesucht, in dem man aufrecht stehen kann und auch einen Regentag komfortabel übersteht. Das haben wir mit dem Gallileo5 gefunden.Es lässt sich sogar alleine aufbauen, dann braucht man ne knappe halbe Stunde. Der Aufbau ist einfach und intuitiv. Auf der Website von Coleman gibt es ein tolles Video hierzu. Zu zweit gehts in knapp 20 Minuten. Ich habe es zum Test zuerst im Garten augebaut. Am Folgetag gab es einen Wolkenbruch mit 27l/m² in einer guten Stunde, das Zelt hat absolut dicht gehalten. Perfekt. Dann waren wir damit eine Woche auf Fehmarn, wo es Windsärke 6-7 problemlos getrotzt hat.Besonders gefällt mir:-die großen Fenster - Viel Licht und tolle Aussicht-die Öffnung mit Reißverschluss für ein Kabel-genug Belüftungsmöglichkeiten-fest eingenähter Boden gibt Krabbeltieren und Wasser keine Chance-super geräumig-variabler Schlafraum kann man in zwei Schlafzimmer teilen, muss man aber nicht-Details, wie farbig markierte Ösen , die das Aufbauen erleichtern-Klettverschlüsse um Kabel zu verlegen-Vorhänge für die Fenster-neonorange Abspannleinen mit eingeflochtenem Reflektor material. Sieht man gut bei Tag und Nacht - geringe Stolpergefahr-Große Zelttasche. Selbst wenn man es nicht wieder so klein zusammen bekommt, wie die Fabrik, passen zusätzliche Heringe, Gummihammer und sogar ein Zeltteppich für den Wohnbereich mit rein.-viele kleine "Wandtaschen" im Schlafbereich-robuste, leichtgänige ReißverschlüsseVerbesserungswürdig sind:-die Heringe: unbedingt stärkere kaufen für die Hauptabpsannleinen (10 Stück)-toll wäre ein kleines Vordach für den Eningang bei Regen. hier hilft aber schon ein SonnensegelDas Preis-Leistungverhältnis finde ich sehr gut. Viel durchdachtes Zelt für einen fairen Preis.
