A handsome set of salt and pepper grinders, but after a couple of years the plastic collar has given on the salt grinder.I like the style of these and the fact that they have adjustable grinders. I also like the large capacity meaning less refilling and the handy lids that mean you can grind into them rather than over a steaming pan.Unfortunately they're just not built to last. There is a plastic collar that connects the grinding head to the main body of the grinder and it has broken just through everyday use. That said, I've had them almost three years now, so they've still been good value for money.Overall I was happy with this set, but am now looking for something of better quality that will last longer.

I like that it's a good side upright standing pair of S&P grinders. However, one of the heads could not grind the pepper. After a few weeks, I swapped the heads, assuming it might work better on salt. But it still didn't work. Wish I wrote in to the seller earlier to get an exchange.

Nice set of Salt and Pepper mills. The top comes of to reveal grinder part. Grinding thickness can be adjusted. They look better full with salt and pepper rather than empty. The glass is thick. Top is stainless steel effect.Looses one star for the box it came in. I intended it as a present however the box is not too presentable (just plain white cardboard box)Other than that very good piece to have in your kitchen.

definitely keeps the table clean, which was the reason for purchase, however, would have liked themilling to be somewhat finer.

Look nice and seem reasonable for the price. Both grinder mechanisms are plastic, so I'm not sure how long they will last.

I am always using salt and pepper in my cooking but I've been tolerating a wooden squeaky mill that takes more effort than just smashing the corns, so i figured it was time for an upgrade. I seen these and I like that it has a ceramic grinder, this is far much better than the metal grinder. So that was a better reason than any to choose this particular mill set. The container is made from glass typical of what you would see from jam jars but a bit thicker, useful to check the levels of its contents. I like that when you finish grinding you turn the mills over and stand them on their base stopping the spillage of table top or cupboards from loose corns. The grinder is made out of stainless steel so there will be no breakdown of metal rusting and the flavours will not be tainted with the taste of metal. The rim of the lid is lined with rubber to prevent moisture from getting into the grinder and spoiling the freshness of the contents. I really like how easy it is to grind the salts/corns there's no effort needed at all. When you take the lid off you see a kind of butterfly screw that adjusts the coarseness of the contents, it has some dots on the top of it that tells you the grinding size, I have tried to highlight this in the photos I have taken. Overall i really like this set and I am really pleased I chose these, so much so I have purchased some pink Himalayan salts and rainbow corns to go with them.❤️I hope my review is helpful in any way. A reason why their a bargin, the lids on top I asume they would click in to place or be magniect that's not the case here. I don't see why they have bothered to be honest. Another dislike is to change how coarse you want your pepper or salt, their is just one way that's it.

These are good looking, but annoyingly you have to take the lid off each one to use them.
