Excellent - but not cheap..
Block seems well made with good spacing between slots. Fits perfectly in my kitchen drawers. They've used a very nice wood as well, not too heavy or light. Instructions say you should oil the wood , I have not. I would recommend this.

Space-Saving and Safe Knife Storage
The Joseph Joseph DrawerStore Knife Organiser is a game-changer for kitchen organization. It fits neatly into a drawer, saving counter space while keeping knives secure and easily accessible. The tiered design holds multiple knives of different sizes, ensuring they stay separated and protected. The sturdy, non-slip base prevents movement, and the quality plastic construction feels durable. A must-have for anyone looking to declutter their kitchen while maintaining safety and convenience. Highly recommend!

So good! Saves space.
One thing I hate is cutlery clutter. This solves that problemb! It’s cute, clean and saves space.Instead of a drawer full of a bulky organiser you can use this and save 3/4 of the space for other items.Good for smaller kitchens too where you are limited to space but still want to make your space nice

Great space saving design
Because of how small our kitchen is, I really appreciate a good spacing design. This is great - it holds twice as many knives as standard trays and has brought order to our messy knife drawer. Very pleased with it.

A very practical solution to knife storage in a kitchen drawer
I've had exactly the same Joseph Joseph knife tidy for several years and my only reason for purchasing this one was that my OH inadvertently placed an egg slicer in the kitchen drawer which normally is stored elsewhere, on top of the knife store causing the whole drawer to jam and it had to eventually be forced open, resulting in both the knife tidy and egg slicer to be completely damaged beyond repair hence purchasing this new knife tidy.I love kitchen utensils, especially kitchen knives as they can make cooking so much easier and this knife storage aid is a very practical way of storing them safely allowing easy and safe access to the desired knife. The knife tidy fits nicely into a regular kitchen drawer and holds up to 9 smaller knives in the top section and theoretically 9 in bottom section but I'd say that 9 would be a little on the crowded side with 9 large knives with thicker handles but fortunately I have only 5 large Victorinox kitchen knives so while it could take more, 5 is very practical and easily stored.Having had one of these for several years I can thoroughly recommend them and as soon as I damaged the old one, without hesitation I re-ordered a new one immediately so that speaks for itself. It's a well thought out and practical way of storing sharp knives in a drawer so buy with confidence.

A spur of the moment purchase that 'just works' but isn't cheap
I like Joseph Joseph products as they are well designed and built, but they are also expensive, so I tend to only buy after much thought. The Drawstore, however, was one of those products that just seemed to be ideal and the reviews I read nearly all raved about them. In the past, I had one of the whole drawer plastic trays but these get tatty and don't seem to work that well for me.I have a lot of cutlery so purchased 2 and have found that I can put 1 row of knives and 2 rows of forks & spoons into each slot. This is enough for around 15 knives and 25-30 spoons. They have also meant I have gained half of my cutlery drawer back for those other 'odd' items like a bread knife, cheese knife, butter knives and baking palette knives, so another win there. There are a few downsides. The first is because I have a shallower drawer (actually it is the top edge of the worktop comes down into the drawer space more) and I found that if I used 2 rows of knives as I do forks and spoons, then they caught the top lip when I opened the drawer and stopped it opening properly. This is not a design fault of the tray but of the kitchen unit but is something to be aware of. The other is the little diagrams on the slots are hard to read and I am forever forgetting which is spoons and which is forks (the handles look the same). The final one is the cost. Each tray is around £15 usually, so getting the 2 has cost £30. As I said at the start, Joseph Joseph kit is expensive but well built. I wish I had spent the money sooner though as they have truly transformed my cutlery drawer and given me so much more space. There is a sharp knife version available too. I use a worktop knife store so haven't tried this, but design-wise, it is designed to match this tray, so will be worth looking at for those who keep sharp knives in a cutlery drawer - with an added benefit that the knives will last longer as they will be separated.

It's OK
I have purchased several Joseph Joseph products, many of them being wins, but not this one. It's very cheap feeling and it's awkward to put knives in across the two levels, you actually have to fill every other slot on each level if you want to use the upper and lower parts. Plus, there is no layer holding the top knives so the device feels a bit clunky to me. Great idea and concept, but could be better execution.
