Hikari Algae Wafers for Pets, 0.70-Ounce

My otocinclus and shrimp love these, especially if medged in a slice of Courgette

I got these for my corydoras, but my shrimp absolutely love them. They'll come out their hiding places and nab them lol. Obviously you don't put a whole one in unless you've got a huge pleco etc. I break a couple of tiny pieces off and plonk them in. The trouble is, all my other fish like them too! So if you've got other fish such as platys or gouramis, there will be a feeding frenzy! I tend to feed my other fish first before my corys and shrimp. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. But can safely say your fish will love them! My cat even got hold of one and enjoyed it!

Ordered 15th March came today 21st March, the expiry date on these green algae wafers is May 2017 so couple months,good thing ordered smallest packet,the fish went crazy for them,so a good buy,and theyhover near top of the tank before gliding down and don't disintegrate.they don't break up,my tropical fish are nibbling them as they slowly sink to the bottom,loved by all my fish with a name you can trust hikari.

So good that my 2alge eaters are now 5 and the tank is crystal clear water really and the rest of the fish even tried to eat the disc clean to pick up and no smell

Fish like them but they break up into loads of small bits. The wafers made by Tropical are much better.

Another good product by Hikari. The plecos, shrimps and algae eaters in my aquarium seem to enjoy these wafers more.

I feed pumpkin shrimp these algae tabs and they thrive and love them. They have a smell which I think helps attract them to the tablets. They immediately flock to it!

Excellent quality. Not much dust residue in the bottom of the package.

My shrimps are usually shy, but they come out of their hiding spot to eat this.
