The Thermos Ultiimate drinks flask unique feature is in its ability to keep drinks scalding hot for 18 hours and hot for 24 hours. I purchased 2 of the smaller size (previous model) one for me and one for my wife about 15 or more years ago and they have never failed to impress on how hot they kept our tea or coffee. They are quite tough and resilient . Unfortunately I dropped mine once too many times , but without blinking instinctively reordered a new one within a heartbeat. Ooops, my eagerness caused me to order the larger 900ml size in error. I will keep it for hot water when we do go out together, as I drink coffee and she drinks Tea. I have already ordered the smaller size ( currently available from TK Max at under £20 and ordered on line for collection tomorrow I can’t wait). Originally I used it for work knowing wherever I was driving to around the country I had a hot coffee to enjoy and even if half drunk a very warm coffee at the end of the day before I started to drive home. I found the smaller size quite adequate to last me throughout the day providing 2 cups of coffee throughout the day. Life without one is almost inconceivable, that is how impressive the Thermos Ultimate flask is. I will keep the larger 900ml size and not return it as even though it is too large for my regular use as I’m sure it will come in useful on the odd but critical situation e.g. Overnight keeping water hot for the morning on a Trip or if I’m in bed unwell a hot drink to hand all day or overnight. It will also be great for cold drinks if going on a picnic or to the seaside with family . It may seem expensive but it truly is a long term investment. 20 out of 10.

Excellent! Couldn’t be happier with this Thermos Ultimate flask - looked online for top recommendations and this was always in the top 5. It’s had everything from coffee, soup and chilli in it. It’s easy to clean, use and pack into a rucksack. So far we’ve had no accidents, leaks or breakages. It’s easy to use and does a fantastic job of keeping food and drinks warm.

A truly outstanding little flask. I have the 900ml and the 500ml both are exceptional and keep everything very hot for 24 hours, I use the small one for soups and all sorts. Great value for money and excellent performance. Well worth buying.

Used for my winter trips fly fishing, coffee or soup keeps warm MUCH longer than present flask. Would recommend 👌

Gets excellent reviews. Update: bought replacement and heat retention is truly amazing, just tested after 18 hours and water v hot, even without pre heating. Now have 2, using the other for soup and meals that can be easily get in and out. Ideal for long trips to a destination, as everything's stays really hot. Original review: Bought used in 'mint' condition. Unfortunately it was delivered severely dented, so return in progress. This seems to highlight it is made of lightweight metal and may explain why it has silicone bumpers. So lightness exchanged for being physically less robust and easily damaged! Looks like it was packed poorly and or not handled well, maybe considered a 'fragile' item

Being an outdoor worker in Wales, I've owned a lot of different flasks - including quite a few Thermos ones. ALL of them before this one had a major flaw - once some of the liquid (tea) was consumed, the cold air that replaced the tea cooled the rest down to a tepid temperature within 4 hours. I've always disliked the easy-pour/flip lids (actually, particularly on the standard 1L Thermos flasks - I've had two and on both of them the stoppers gave up within a year), but this double screw one actually works well, and alongside the excellent build quality of this flask, even half full/half empty (to those philosophers out there - they're the SAME THING!!!) it's still piping hot, 8 hours later. I purchased the 900ml 3 months ago, and so far have appreciated its excellence. There's no denying it's expensive, but you get what you pay for - this isn't Thermocafe or standard Thermos, it's an elite well-designed, practical flask. The only downside for me was that I had to cut some rubber off the cup/lid to allow it to fit in my (Iveco Himatic) van's cup holders. I stopped to write this review in the middle of purchasing the 500ml version, for lunch soup. I'd recommend the 900ml version unreservedly, it is seriously the best flask I've ever owned in terms of keeping stuff hot.

This will keep any hot drinks or soups hot for hours , I fill mine at 5am and it’s still hot 12 hours later .

I am taking coffee to work. Make it early in the morning and it is still very hot by lunch time. Very pleased.

Atención, solo para el modelo "Thermos Ultimate MKII" (los otros dos "colores" no son el mismo modelo): Compré este termo para poder llevarme el té caliente por las mañanas y que me durara todo lo posible, sin ser un mamotreto pesado de 1l de capacidad, y la verdad es que acerté plenamente. Me enviaron uno de sustitución pues hacía un ruido extraño al agitarlo, y estoy plenamente satisfecha con la compra y la calidad del termo. Creo que no podía comprar uno mejor, es el único de la marca (y de los que he visto, pues miré mucho) que mantenía las bebidas calientes durante 24h con 500ml de capacidad (o menos). Todos los demás (a excepción de algún Zojirushi, que también son muy buenos) se subían al litro. El primer día que lo usé, llené el termo a eso de las 7 de la mañana, y a las 17:00 de la tarde aún me quemaba si no tenía cuidado de esperar un poco antes de beber. Si lo llenas por la noche, también está caliente al día siguiente, aunque he de decir que no aguanta a esa temperatura 24h, pues en ese tiempo el contenido tan solo se mantiene templado. Plenamente satisfecha, recomiendo totalmente el producto. Te ha resultado útil? ;-)
