The ACE16000 router does have an option to subscribe to Homeshield. If you never set it up in the first place, I do not know if it is active. I do not use the router for this purpose as each of my computers is protected by McAfee. I believe TP Link used to use Avira as the company to scan for malicious URLs. As of 2023, the Homeshield service is powered by Norton. There have been concerns about data previously being sent to the Avira servers without the users knowledge or permission. I do not know if the same situation exists after being replaced by Norton. If you are using the features of Homeshield such as blocking of ads and malicious web sites, the data has to be sent to the company. Even if you are using Ad Blocking software. data has to be sent to companies such as Ad Block for that service to function. Remember that your ISP also has access to all data sent from your home or business network. Most of the data will be encrypted, but the URL data cannot be as it is needed to route information to the correct web sites. You might need to set up a VPN.

Hi! There are 3 ports on the Archer AXE300 that can be used as the WAN/Internet port. After choosing one and connecting it to your ISP/modem, the remaining ports will act as LAN ports. Please also note: For the 10 Gbps RJ45/SFP+ Combo WAN/LAN Port - the combo port pairs a RJ45 port with an SFP+ port. Only one port in the pair can be used at a time. As a result, load balancing is not a currently supported feature.
